Found a Glitch???

While playing in a private i was spectating and decided to check another players telemetry. As you all know while in telemetry you can hit the RB button to switch between tires, allignment and so on.... But... while i was tapping the RB button at the same time it was changing the game camera to look behind the spectated car as well as flip through the telemetry.

Now at work we would call that a "Feature" providing a higher productivity.

While using the Fanatec Wheel I was having issues with the shifter. Unplugged it and put it back again. Turned the wheel on and off. After I won the race I was awarded NO CREDITS. This continued until I left the World Tour and rejoined. (This time with Sequential Shifter. No more issues.

Seems they may have fixed the freeze bug while joining lobbies and while in them but theres a new one. while uploading a car to the club garage it will sit on the saving screen and do nothing was waiting for 10+ mins before i had to dashboard it and try again.

There have been a few graphics issues for me. Long muscle cars are cut off in the my cars menu. Lexus LFA's speedo was a little glitchy (mainly when you see it revving at the start of a race).

I found one. The Ford Escort '92 model's rearview mirror is mirrored. Seriously, compare it with the side mirror!

Yesterday I did two races that awarded me zero credits.
Restarted the game and all was ok after that.

Found another just then, When starting a race in the 908 peugeot make sure your raceview is set to chase and when the count down timer starts and its in cockpit view none of the electronic gauges work on the steering wheel. Back out and switch to cockpit or bumber view and start it again and they'll start working on the countdown....

Not sure if this is a glitch, or by design...

The races in World Tour mode do not nessarily show on the event list. Meaning you can do a race in an F class car at say Sebring, but in the event list there may not be an F class race at Sebring.

The above show an F class race on the Indy Racing League Circuit in the Class F World Championship , if you go to the event list, there is no F class race on that track, in the Class F World Championship.

This is not an isolated case, I have noticed this a lot lately. So when you are ploughing through the career in World Tour, dont think you are also ploughing through the event list.

Just had a count up, in my stats it says I have done 79 races, and in the event list I have completed 35.

That bloody credit glitch cost me about 200k this morning.
Might have to try the 270 sen adjustment.
Hope T10 get a fix for this sooner rather than later.

I am wondering if it is related the event list issue I raised earlier. Ie: if the race is not in the event list you get no money.

Forzanet forum chat suggests its a fanatec/FM4 issue.
Various posts about fixes using firmware updates and alternatively arcane rituals between races to make sure you get points.
Most common workaround is to set sen to 270 and fiddle lin setting to get decent feel in the wheel.
T10 are supposed to be aware of issues relating to 900 degree wheel problems. Thats posted in the Release notes to the patch they put out last week.

I'll test the 270 sen next time I play.

I tried the 270 setting last night and still ended up with a 0 credit payout when I beat a club rival's time. Cost me another 100k.

I checked my wheel this morning and you can actually set sen = OFF.
Didn't believe that when I read it online, but its there and apparently works out the same as setting to 270. So I'll try that next time I play.

I also read online that there may be something to do with not having damage in an event that lets the 0 credit slip through. From memory I managed a couple of clean races where I ended without damage and didn't get any credits.

Its really disappointing to win hard run races and not get the credits and levelling you were expecting. Hopefully T10 are working on a fix and don't take too long to release a patch.

I had a good night last night with only doing one race where I did not get paid. To make it worse, it was one I tried about 10 times to win. hmmm, maybe thats it, if you try too many times you get F all.

Areyou still using your old wheel settings or are you using 270?

Nope just left it the same. To tell you the truth, I am not convinced it is the wheel. Would be nice if someone without a GT2 would confirm this for me though.

I have had not probs with payout in world tour..

only thing i found with rivals is..

if u change a rival to someone who has a higher bounty and u have a try at beating them.. i found if u back ou tthe race before finishing and then retry the rival u picked wont be the rival if there up the ladder..

e.g i set teeroy as a rival for 50k bounty.. i started the autocross.. got 1/2 way through and slapped about 5 cones. so i backed out of the race and went to the autocross screen and tried it again in a diffrent car..

When i finished the 2nd attempt it said i beat teeroy.. but i only got 1k as it defaulted back to the original rival which was 5 places lower then teeroy and not the 50k i thought i was getting..

not to sure if its a glitch but if u manually choose someone as a rival apart form the person who is the next above u .. when u back out to the main auto cross screen it will go back to the default rival FM4 thinks.. and not the person u picked.. seems to not remember or stay set to the person u want as a rival.

not to sure if this could be the reason you didnt get the credits u expected ??

I found the speedo on my 92 NSR-R is off. It is ok until around 80-90 then the speedo starts to read incorrectly. Stock tyres as well..
