Nice lap from Tander, how bout Reynolds and Murph getting 4/5th bit of a surprise.
Dont think bargs will be playing well this year either after his big mess on final lap.
My mate ran the australian Safari last week. Craig Lowndes drove the Colorado for it, he rolled it badly on Leg 5 and my mate says its a miracle he is there racing this week, he was pretty banged up by all reports.

Reynolds has been a huge surprise this year, last year when i went to Sandown he was always last and every lap he would be a bit further behind the pack. but this year he is doing so much better, its like he just bought some talent

Re: BATHURST 2011
I reckon Murph and Reynolds should just get customer cars from kelly racing, break away from and make there own team.
Kellys running 5 cars at bathurst is a bit of a joke IMO, they should just concentrate on getting 2 going right before undertaking that kind of work load

the kelly brothers haven't exactly been as fast as they used to be since they started running their own team. they cant get their cars to be fast enough, so why take on extra cars before you get your own right? it makes no sense to me.

Its called a "business model" and the priority is making a profit.

Re: BATHURST 2011
agreed on the business model, and to be honest it is to their benefit to see if anyone else without the business model in mind to drive for them.
Example Mark Skaife, couldnt do a thing right whilst he was the team owner with success everywhere else, maybe a mindset or just coincidence but i reckon Jim Richards and Jack Brabham are the only blokes to pull that one off.
I like the Kelly boys approach, more cars = more chance to win.
evidence is cars 4-5th in qual at Bathurst looks like they are doing something right , just not their own driving

Re: BATHURST 2011
bring the rain!!
how crap was Lowndsey waiting in the pit cue, lost 5 spots for that, second time.
didnt mind the compare of Bathurst height to sydney opera house and sydeny harbour bridge.
If ya missed it Mt Panorama is 3 times in height of the Opera House, 174M.
at this point its looking like Vodaphones day........before the rain anyway....
Not a lot happening in this race considering it half way through.

gotta give the guy credit though, he lost 13 seconds in the pits doing nothing, plus the pit stop, lost 4 spots, and is now second. clearly the best driver out there imo.
