Man, the US Top Gear sucks nearly as much as the Aussie one.
Good find though - see a bit more of the game.

Dan talks about:
Unlike the other two Under the hood's that we've had so far - I don't think there is ANY bad news in this one... All just feature adds, and I have a feeling some of the drag racers, photographers are going to be quite happy
Dan talks about:

while im not over the moon on those feature, the big shot im looking forward to. i just wish the photography was like real life, not just adjusting some sliding bars to get the exposure right.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4
very excited about the new info in regards to the AI and this -
4.There have also been changes in the “Aero and Appearance” section of the Upgrade Shop. Most cars with distinct, standalone front and rear bumpers now offer an option to remove the bumpers. For a more period-correct look, specific models receive vintage motorsport-inspired front and rear aerodynamics, and add paintable headlight covers for a race-ready look. Some muscle cars now offer aftermarket drag racing style hood options in both Pro Stock and classic cowl-induction configurations. You’ll also have the ability remove the factory rear wing or spoiler from some cars, and for the ultimate upgrade, some cars allow you to purchase OEM appearance packages available only from the factory, completely transforming the look of your car. While not every car has each of these options, the new options and features are going to open up a new world of customization options for racers, painters, and photographers to experiment with.

On the one hand, Big Shot IS pretty cool for getting images that are big enough to look good without aliasing so you can edit them and still have freedom as to their sizes. And you can finally make decent wallpapers for your computer!
On the other....still no USB support, due to M$'s built in...qualities...
Aren't they letting you buy individual cars this time as the DLC is all handled in game?
But yeah, i hate that practice.

Expect lots of car and track packs that could have quite easily been included in the retail package.

This Under the Hood had the best news for people like me and Pacman, drag racers. Turn 10 included drag compound tires which basically means we gonna be even faster haha

Re: Forza Motorsport 4
hell yeah buddy. here is the quote directly from it
'For Forza 4, we’ve added a drag racing tire compound. This tire compound has more accelerative peak grip than the racing slicks, but has extremely poor cornering characteristics. Frankly, this compound is horrible to drive on a road course, but launches like a rocket. This compound also wears much faster and reacts to heat differently than the other tires in the Pirelli dataset. Because Forza is an automotive sandbox, we allow you to use this tire in regular road racing--however, you’re probably going to want to change the “damage and wear” difficulty settings to cosmetic. With the proper tuning setup, we’ve been able to use these tires to get wheelstands, but it also requires strong clutch control and car with the “right” center of mass.'

All of it sounds good apart from the "no in lobby tuning"
Come on T10, In lobby tuning was one of the best parts of FM2 leaving it out is just stupid!

Lobby tuning was a great addition to FM2. Great way for tuners to help out by talking you through the tuning and then running it together on track.JamieWhincup#1 wrote:All of it sounds good apart from the "no in lobby tuning"

I can see why it was removed from FM3 in the hoppers but why take it from the private games...
For FM4 it should be available in private and custom lobbies with the option for the host to turn it on or off.
I still believe it has no place in public lobbies/hoppers.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4
well at least the latest Under The Hood is 90 percent happiness.
i had hoped they would let the AI drive a car of your choice (including upgrades) but at least they have come halfway with it. i like the idea of tighter career racing.
all good news really except for the tuning free lobby...wtf?????
i hope Dan was only talking public lobbies at that point...

Arr yes it does, but by the time people here about it and start downloading it, it will cause XBL to sh1t itself just like last week with fifa 12 or what ever that game is called.
