I looked at it but all the reviews I read said it was pretty bad, what's your opinion of it?

Well, it is not really a sim, but it is ok. Dogfuss worked out not to use the steering wheel, and believe me it is a lot better. I am going to give it a go with the force feedback turned off and see how it goes. The MS wheel just is not quick enough.
It is game that unlike F1 2010 it will not make it harder to jump back in to the Forza cars.
After I finish N4S HP I will get back in to it.

IT ROCKS!!
Well initial race (using MS wheel) was a nightmare but after some good time tuning it i can now use the steering wheel and with feathering the throttle i can rip round the first track in 15 secs every time in and out of traffic.
Im racing in car camera only (with the front wing and cage in view)
I gotta say once you get it worked out its some hard work but massively fun.
I got my copy brand new for $20, a worthy investment for what will be a wicked fun game, especially when there is 8 of us to run online.
I ran 3 races before knowing there were tearoffs on my helmet so i could see hahaha.
This game gets a massive rating.
(yes thats an official rating system)

Re: WORLD OF OUTLAWS - SPRINTCARS
hey guys ive found that the "shadows" are all overthe shop (when racing in car view, i havent raced any other view) if you press start and restart your race it tidies up the imaging problem.
Also our times on most tracks between Me, Dazza and Dogfuss are generally 0.2 - 0.4 seconds apart.
we gotta get online with this game fellas!

Re: WORLD OF OUTLAWS - SPRINTCARS
yeah dont get me wrong its worth the $20 price tag.
Its no Forza
It changes for the larger and smaller tracks as you need mroe push down from thw wing on the smaller tracks.
I have massive changes for each one so ill right some stuff down and get back to ya

Re: WORLD OF OUTLAWS - SPRINTCARS
Hey Teeroy, Just got home from a day atthe beach, so I will grab some dinner, watch a bit of TV, then throw this game in for some fun tonight if you are keen.
I might be a bit rusty though, have not played it for a few weeks, and it takes a bit of getting use to.
Dogfuss has been on it all week, so I will rope him in, if he is online.
