Im just wondering if there is any issues with the PM Messaging , As i had sent out a PM 2 days ago and yesterday it was still sitting in my out box, So i then re wrote the message and sent it again to come to work today to see it still sitting in the out box ??

Is there any known issues with PM's not sending ??

umm not sure Don.
Check your sent items is not full, you may need to delete some of those, prob clear out your inbox & sent items see if ya can free up some room, maybe thenm it will kickstart itself,

youre prob at the limit showing off your sand castles to everyone via PM, hahaha

Bud i only have 4 messages in my inbox and 1 in my sent items.. 4% used in my inbox and 2% in my sent items.. As i thought it could have been that but i have plenty of space.

Could it be ratel's mail is full ???

I have also noticed my pm's sit there untill the person I was pm ing logs on and then it tends to fire of the message.

correct.....I believe Ratels box may be full....if not it may just be a server issue, which is a pain cause there is nothing that can be done at our end

everyone should be keeping track of PM messages and only keeping the important ones....delete the rest

Are PM's really PM's or can Mods or Admin read them like they can read some topics which are locked to everyone else?


I remember Mitch saying something about him changing a person's username & password once, (gamefanhasxlive from memory) & it got me curious as to what is & isn't possible around here.

Far as I'm aware you can only read PMs that you've sent or were sent to you.
I haven't seen anything that would allow an admin or mod to get at other peoples PMs, it would be bad if they could.

We can see emails and log in details etc.

Cannot see anyones PM's sent, unsent, whatever...

As Teeroy said, admin do have access to player profile info, for the obvious legit reasons of doing admin. Not something that comes up very often.

Admin can change a players password, but can't actually see the existing password that the player has chosen .
So if admin wanted to read someone's PM's they would have to change the player's password to log on with the player's user id. Which the player would notice next time they tried to log on and their chosen password didn't work anymore...

I checked the forum memberlist and Ratel hasn't been on forum since Monday. Thats the last time he logged in.

The PM won't move from your outbox until Ratel logs on to the forum, thats if his inbox isn't full.
