Well today is the day my $70 trade in offer expires. I am going to keep the game, I do like it, and dispite the issues I want to finish the game. So if and when the patch comes out and the clubs etc are open, I will finish the game. Lets just hope it is not too far away.

Besides, I have a date tonight in the Poker Tournament... maybe after a few drinks, I can poker. (sorry it has been a long week)

Hey Everyone,

The latest news from the development team is in. Please see below for the most recent update regarding the progress on the console patches:

TDU2 Community,

Thank you for making TDU2 a huge success worldwide. We’ve reached the top of the sales charts in many territories and continue to work diligently on making TDU2 the best persistent-world racing game on console and PC.

The first of our game optimizations for console will be live tonight on Xbox 360 at 1am PT (9am GMT) and PS3 is soon to follow. This update will resolve a corruption issue that some players experienced with their saved game files. In some cases corrupted files will be automatically repaired.

Available on Monday, 3/14 at 1am PT (9am GMT) will be a patch that should address many of the outstanding concerns that some of the community experienced on PS3 and Xbox 360. We have worked diligently to stabilize the network and address log-in issues. Friends lists will now be populated, invites will work correctly and Clubs will be brought back online. The Casino has been optimized and the bug causing players to lose money has been resolved. We have also addressed many of the exploits in the game and will be monitoring cheating in all its forms.

The TDU2 community has been a great support to the development team and we look forward to rewarding your loyalty soon with free DLC content. We should be able to provide dates once Microsoft and Sony approve the content and will update the community as soon as they are expected to go live.

had another good night at the slots, won 70k on the slots again hehe prob not as quick as playing poker to get money, but the worst you can loose is 4500, not everything like i would with poker hehe

**edit** just saw your flying video daz, thats awesome hahahhaha. also if you go too far it just freezes your game... just a heads up ahhaha

OK Guys, I have created our club, OZTDU the sister club to OZFM.

Not sure how many still have this game, but I have sent a few invites around. I will be on after the GT Cup win tonight, might hang around the club for a bit, then head to the casino to celebrate my wins in the GT Cup races.

Clarkson is going to start a second club so we can do some of the club vs club stuff.

So hopefully, (if the game feels like working tonight) we can nail some of those achievements too.

I will join the club as soon as my second copy comes via ebay. My daughter knocked over the xbox while playing the original and scratched the beejesus out of it making it unplayable.
