Loyal TDU2 Fans,

Just wanted to stop in and give everyone a quick update on the steady progress that we have been making.

Last night we added new servers, which have provided incremental improvements towards online connectivity and multiplayer stability. We are also performing ongoing analysis of server performance to optimize the performance. These changes should result in a steady improvement over the course of the next few days.

Our primary goal right now is to complete the next client patch for all platforms. Our teams are currently hard at work putting the finishing touches on these patches. Our goal is to have patches ready for QA testing on Wednesday, February 16th, and to allow 24 hours of testing to ensure that everything is 100% functional. If the fixes check out, we’ll submit the console patches to Microsoft and Sony for approval, and release the PC patch immediately.

The goal of these patches is as follows:

•Improve login process to allow a higher volume of successful connections
•Increase online stability
•Address issues related to file corruption
•Enable Club functionality
•Address infinite loading screen issue (Xbox only)

Individual fixes from this list may or may not go live depending on the results of QA testing. We’ll keep everyone in the loop regarding the status of these updates. Expect to receive another update within the next day.

As a reminder, the DLC items missing from the PSN store for European players is a known issue. We’re coordinating with Sony to get these items back online within the next few days.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to share their feedback here on the forums. Rest assured that we have been working diligently to get these issues resolved, and are very grateful for the support that we have received from our fans during the launch rush.

Me too I didn't purchase it for nothing. I wanna beat Don Stylz score I think he needs to go to gamblers anonymus he is always in the casino.

Honestly, this is pathetic. The fact that they shipped this title with so many bugs has really ruined the game.

I have tons of friends who've just returned it and whilst I told them to hold out for fixes, I can't blame them.

Being the type of game that it is, if too many people return it, it'll fail like the first iteration.

They should give everyone free DL content as a minimum.

hehehehe Paul.. i think i do need to go to GA.. heheheeheheehe I just wanted to catch dazza as i got a message on tdu2 he hit the Million dollar mark so i had to catch him

One reason i was always in there is cause the casino server was down more then up and was always in there trying to connect to a valid session.. Seems to be running alot better now though and noticed the TDU LIFE page is working again..

I have noticed people are up leveling quickly which is good to see..


IMURGOD.. i can understand peoples frustraition with the connection issues.. Guess its up to the person if they want to keep the game or not. ?? From what i have read on the TDU2 forums they have put in a heap of new servers to handle the network load which i can understand and i guess slowly it will all get ironed out.. fingers crossed..

Hopefully the club section should be up by monday as mentioned by eden.. They are curently testing out a new client patch and are submitting it to sony & microsoft by friday to get the approval to roll it out.. Hopefully this will clear up alot of the bugs we have had to deal with..

But i have noticed since i got the game the multiplayer section has improved quite a lot from before as u could never connect to anyone.. so they are working on it..

One thing i did see on the forums.. is that they have put aside a so call space for another island later on down the track .. and possibly introducing bikes into the game later down the track.. But if this is completely true i dont know..

I tried, that stuff is impossible, you cant move a shape with the dpad which is quite annoying. i gave up

anyone else got the Bank maximum amount of F.R.I.M achievement? if so how'd you get it? (btw its only a maximum of 4k at level 10 which is what you can get)

Yea Ive done it Fez, it did it the chepo way though...

Jump in your wrx, find a big grassy paddock and start drifting, skid and just keep going, takes about 5 minutes to get it to level 10

?? dam so imagine trying to get the xbl acheivment of 100k in F.R.I.M .. think it woul dbe near impossible..

nah don the achievement for XBL is only 4k because that is as high as it goes... did mine the cheap way too putz. found a beach then drove up and down it because i got little jumps then at the ends did some drifting hehhe

Carpark behind the first driving school is good for FRIMming.

The 100K FRIM will just add up over time, I keep banking 100 -200 -350 lots all the time, so I guess I will get there eventually.

Fez i had to double check then.. as im thought my old mind was playn tricks as im sure i seen 100k..

Now that dazza has explained it that way... it makes sence now .. i thought there is no F'kn chance im gona be gettting 100k on F.R.I.M.

QA is currently in the process of rigorous testing on the next Xbox 360 patch. The current ETA is that these patches will see another three days of extensive internal review before they are sent to Microsoft for approval.

The goal of this patch is as follows:

•Enable Co-Op races
•Enable weather while offline
•Address an issue where players can get a Lancia which has no car data (the patch should prevent this from occurring in the future, and restore players who are currently affected by the issue)

SOB just got the file data is corrupted... there anyway to fix this?

this game took a dive didnt it, i cant even be bothered putting my copy back in, kinda over it for now maybe later

I am still enjoying the single player stuff, while I wait for the patch.

Yup, load it up with xbox live disconnected (I think pull the cord out the back of the xbox but sign in or something to this effect) & your game should load ok, then sign into xbox live once your game is loaded.

I think it's just about dead in the water for me.
It's too frustrating to put back in my console. It'll have to be spectacular or have a massive following for me to jump back in.

On another note, I am loving NFS:Hot Persuit! If anyone has it, jump in!

I took mine back for the full refund after 5 days - spent the first 3 hours "trying" to play it. Got to play about 45mins in between the glitchouts and freezing on load screens.

I Dont have NFS: Hot Potato, but ill be looking at Shift 2 when it comes out

Wierd, I have played it to almost death. I only have a few A1 races to go, then all the "Career" mode is done. I have found all the wrecks, and photos. The only problems I have had is the casino, which Dogfuss gave me the code for. Each time I go there it can not find the servers. Oh and the club stuff is still off line. But I have plenty to do before they fix the clubs.

Maybe I am heading for a fall... time will see.

Hopefully this patch is out soon.. im with u dazza.. im liking the single player challengers still .. well untill the patch comes out ..

Has anyone created any challengers ?? i will probly post 2 up tonight ..

Super Rally Cross Challenge : 116 km Rally cross track.

Not to sure how the prize works..

As i know u put up your time.. And set a challenge price.. and if they beat your time they get the reward prize.. and if no one does the creater wins the total challenge prize pool..

But im not sure if u get beatn 3 time weather u pay the reward prize 3 times. ??

Will probly have it set at 5k to try the challenge and 50k for the reward prize..

The race editor is one thing i like..

Dazza dont know why the asino isnt working for you ?? i know its up and down at times.. but there has been quite a few times its been up and running fine ?? i do fine from between 8:30ish to midnight its usually running ok..

Next time you are online and i am and the casino is running for me i will try invite u to a private poker game and see if it pulls u in
