FM6 - MX-5 Cup - Livery Guidelines

Livery Guidelines:


MX-5 Required Decal Placement:

All decals must be placed as specified in this document, on a vertical surface
which is visible to spectators and photographers. Unless otherwise stated, these
decals will be provided by Dektra/surferofthemind via the share front (Search OZFM) and must
be applied, unmodified, as advised.

Driver’s Gamertag
Driver’s gamertag shall appear in title case on the top of each door, directly underneath the door handle. Door letter decals must use font 1, size (X 0.10, Y 0.10), and be in a colour that contrasts the vehicles paint.

Number Board
The series supplied number boards will be placed on each side of the car, in front of the door.

Car Numbers
The car’s number must appear on:
- Both number boards, using Font 7, size (X 0.40, Y 0.29) coloured black or white depending on the numberboard chosen.
- On the bonnet Font 7, size (X 0.40, Y 0.29) in a colour that contrasts the paint
- Rear bumper, left hand side Font 7, size (X 0.20, Y 0.15) in a colour that contrasts the paint

OZFM Decals
OZFM decals shall be placed on the car.  Two decals shall be placed on the sides of the car, one on either side, at the front of the side skirt, directly behind the front wheel arches. One decal shall be placed on the right side of the rear bumper near the tow rope.  

Hawk Decals
Each car shall have two decals, on both sides of the car, positioned on the side skirt behind the OZFM decals.

Koni Suspension Decals
Each car shall have two decals, on both sides of the car, positioned on the side skirt behind the Hawk decals.

VP Race Fuels Decals
Each car shall have two decals, on both sides of the car, positioned on the rear side skirt behind the Konidecals, and directly in front of the rear wheel arches.

Falken Tires Decals
Each car shall have two decals, one on each side of the front bumper, directly below the headlights.  

MAZDASPEED Decals  
Each car shall have two MAZDASPEED decals. One must be centred on the front bumper below the Mazda emblem, the other centred on the rear bumper.

Mazda Decals
Two Mazda decals shall be placed on the car, one on either side of the car centred above the rear wheel arches.

Safety Stickers
Each car shall have 1 of each safety sticker
- Extinguisher sticker and battery cut off sticker, located directly behind the passenger door at the top of the bodywork.
- Blue triangle battery locator sticker to be placed on the right side of the bonnet.

If you choose to have a major sponsor on your car it must be of a small company. and be approved in the signup thread.

just with the gamer tag specifics...... why does it need to start with a capital and all others lower case? will not suit mine and maybe most others gamertags

Are the decals up yet?
Not sure if store was having issues but couldn't find anything under tag "ozfm" on the weekend/

And the paint sceme  can be any thing as long as the decals are in the right spot ??

not up yet they are making sure the vinyls are not glitches before sharing should be up on weekend you can still do a paintjob though

Vinyl groups are up now guys!

Search "OZFM" or my GT "surferofthemind"

You will find a set for the front, rear, left and right. All decals are in the correct location. There is a white or black set for the left and right. Just chose the one you prefer or that suits the car best.

There is a small black dot on each main vinyl group. *
* For the front and rear these dots line up at the towing points. When in the correct location the dot should not be seen.
* For the left and right the black dot should line up behind the mirror where it connects to the doors. Again, when in the correct location the dot should not be seen.
* No resizing should be necessary. If you do resize the vinyl group may not fit correctly.

You will see a grey square with an X beside the numberboard and under the OZFM logo on the rear. This is where you add you license tag. Search OZFM and select the correct tag to add to your car.

There is also a battery location blue triangle available. Download and stick on the bonnet. Should be on the right side 1/3 up from the head light. Use ForzaVista, open the bonnet and the battery should be under there close to the sticker.

Use "Upper Letters 11" for your numbers on the numberboards. Black on white, white on black. As for the numbers on the bonnet they need to be easy to see. Same as the rear but needs to be placed on the left side of the rear bumper. The template design above uses "Upper Letters 7" for the bonnet and rear bumper.

The Mazda logo over the rear wheel arch will be either black or white depending on the side you download and use. There is also a blue Mazda logo on its own. Hopefully it can be recoloured like in FM5. Feel free to use this option and just place over the black/white one on the vinyl group.

The side vinyl groups do take up 400 layers but with 3000 available I am sure you will find room for your design.



Here is an example showing the license tags and the black vinyl group with an additional Mazda logo in grey over the black one.

Will do Ratel. Once the series has started (tomorrow) I will start to add a few single logos for other projects. The full decal set was to make it easy to get the decals in the right spot and the right size ready for the first race.

The OZFM logo will be the 1st one up and will stay well after the MX5's are done as it will get used a lot more in the future. The license tags will also stay up for any other series to use. I am sure between Dektra and myself we will get a few other decals up for future use.

We could make a set thing like the mx5 for all series and we do a livery around that ?

A big shout out to surfer for his hard work organising the decals for the MX-5 cars. Was so easy just lining it up and bang it works, maybe you should be on the development team for pCars!

Is my car 'livery legal'? Never done one of these before so thought to check
