They gonna have no customer base for F6 after this.. Fkn greedy americans, the Europeans/Japs are going to OWN the gaming industry soon enough & stupid excessively greedy american developers that at one time had it all going for themselves will only have their ever more greedy money grabbing desperation and lack of post sale support to blame....

I swear its simply a frenzy of marketing driven money making off glamourised yet essentially UNFINISHED games that we've subjected to recently, with the only satisfaction being seen in the bank accounts of software companies.

Hope they enjoy the bubble while it lasts, people aren't stupid & I don't think anyone is going to bother with the next Forza/COD etc after being burned so bad this time around...

The achingly bad part of all this though, is seeing/feeling just how good some of these games COULD BE on this new platform, if not for the games essentially being either a re hash of old programming & graphics (COD) or still a Beta/unfinished platform (Forza 5).

At least Battlefield is solid, & getting the support that the game & us players deserve (fresh big update yesterday, more planned etc).. pity about Forza etc.... & no Gta5 yet? Wtf??

T10 have not lost me on the game itself but the DLC I can not see me forking out the cash for the cars offered. All new for the game and higher quality than the last game I understand but I think they went about it all wrong.

If they had say 12 cars per pack. 6 brand spanking new to the franchise, 6 remastered from previous games with 1 of them as a freebie then I would be tempted to spend up. And yes more race cars are needed. One per pack even if they were part of the remastered set.

The game has enough to keep me playing. Good thing I kept the 360 as I can take a break and play something else or play BF4 or FIFA on the ONE.

Project CARS and Forza Horizon 2 should be released around the same time. We have seen what PCARS should have and it looks good (well very good). Horizon 2 looks to have more features such as weather as well as the day cycle Horizon 1 had. Remember these are two different games and the Forza community will be split between them but I know the OZFM community will lean towards the "racer" of the two when released. Still FM5 will do till then and one of those will then do till FM6.

Nobody is being made or forced to buy these car packs. But yes, paying for access to cars that we have paid for once before or previously had available for free (on disc release day) is nasty, filthy, ugly, greed.

I touched on this a couple of days ago in the GT6 thread T10 do not seem to want to actually support their community. Unlike PD who are very actively doing stuff. T10 need to stop being so secretive and help the fans out here because as you all have said it's pretty rubbish.

Yeah, I seen your posts in the Gt thread. Stondkiwi was saying earlier about PD had yet another little update today because a few people where having trouble with replays or something. That's community support.

Cannot believe I paid for the car pass. I could've used the money on something better....the Forza Horizon season pass maybe?

I've stuck with this game and rebutted for them, giving them benefit of the doubt. But 3 strikes and you're out, T10. 3 good cars per pack does not equal a good car pack. Way to support your community, the only thing that actually supports you and pays for this shit. It must be so easy to get access to a 33 Stradale or a 250 California to scan, but we ask for a few GT cars (get this: there's a GT series IN AMERICA. OH MY GOD, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO GO OVERSEAS) and suddenly it's too hard or too expensive.

Well....didn't you? With Horizon and the pre-release car "reveals" didn't you even suspect?

Yeah I had suspicions, and I knew they were still going to copypasta cars from FM4 and Horizon. But that doesn't mean I hate the game, the lack of fresh DLC just frustrates the shit out of not just me but everyone here.

Envy your replies reek of second hand forum trolling, iv played both GT6 and Forza 5 and even with all of Forza's faults it still sh!ts all over GT6.. I wouldn't care if you wrote from your perspective but you seem to write sh!t based on what you've read. Have you actually put a decent amount of time into F5?

No one is forcing you to buy the DLC.
Looks like both console racers have their flaws (some just more noticeable than others).
Those who wish to move to another game and or console, go for it. Plenty of other forums/communities out there for you if you to troll if you want to go that far.

We are doing what we can to make the most out of FM5 for the community. Race series are starting up and soon the calendar will be full with some sort of racing most nights. The V8's are back and with Bathurst this time. Reading the comments above most of you seem happy to hang onto Forza and keep racing regardless of what T10 has given (or not given) us 6th time around.

Keep it on topic, play nice or we lock it up.

On another note T10 have hinted about something big this month apparently. Maybe the rest of the game ha ha. Dont get me wrong i love forza but its racing community in this latest instalment is definately being shafted. Tracks, replays and the old lobby set ups minus the crashing and they could watch "their" community flourish again. Only time will tell and I hope they turn things around but right now turn 10 are fueling the wrong fires.

Fingers crossed for the "community" I hope we get something a little more inspiring soon. See y'all on the track soon (not in any smokin pack cars but)

I simply won't be paying any extra money for dlc that it is rebirthed and wayyy overpriced. I hope most of us ozfmers do the same, unless you unfortunately bought into the season pass

Didn't see this coming? As genuine fans of the FM series it seemed to me like we all hoped things would get better, after all the first dlc packs were rebirthed content weren't they? Wouldn't have taken a genius to see this coming, but we rather have preferred to hoped for something better.
