All OZFM rules apply however any/no paint job may be used as this is an informal testing event, same as last week.

Qualifying turned out to be a bit of a drama with a few connection problems etc resulting in 1 or more of the guys not getting their qualifying run in. For the rest of us we did one run of 2 laps, 1 warmup and 1 flying. The results of this are shown below. This turned out to be a moot session as we eventually decided to start the race with a random grid, this will be explained further below.
 
Qualifying Results:
 
So as we were running really late and another qualifying session and warmup race lap were going to take another 20 mins or more, an option was put to the lobby to just load up and race with a random grid from a standing start if we all saw 16 cars on the grid. Most were happy to do this as its just a casual pre season race but ideally we WON'T be doing this again. Of course this worked out that I went from Pole position to dead last lol, but hey I went with it, at least we could get racing.   
 
Racing got underway and after a few lag related hiccups with a car or 2 in the lobby, we ended up with a 1 second roll off to allow for a cleaner 1st lap. This worked a treat and away we went for our 30 lapper. Had some great racing along the way, this week the pits were open from the end of lap 1 to the end of lap 29 and there were lots of different pit strategies in play from different cars to keep everyone on their toes. Personally speaking I was pretty happy with how my race panned out.
