Dam, would of liked to have a run considering these cars are my biggest source of frustration atm in game, but be fishing and need the relaxation from trying to tune these beasts. Have a good one.

Qualifying Results:
 
For qualifying we tried something different, a "Top 16" shootout involving a standing start, 1 lap dash on cold tyres. Feedback would be appreciated, I thought it worked well but am open to any ideas as to how to improve this concept. Sorry about the blurry picture, should still be able to make out times it just gives you a bit of a headache, sorry! (Pole was a 2:11.5xx)
 
Race Results (30 laps + formation lap):
 
The race grid was obviously based on the qualifying shootout results, and involved 1 formation lap and then a start time was given once all the cars were correctly formed up on the grid.
 
Thanks again to everyone who raced,  and particular congratulations to Dropbear on winning the race and taking pole in the qualifying shootout, top job mate.
 
I'm only aware of 1 incident of contact in the race but it was quite accidental and it was great to see the car involved apologise immediately, and then stop and wait for the car that got tapped to get back going again.  
 
Speaking for myself, I was very happy to salvage a 2nd place in the race after qualifying dead last, had a great fight back through the field with many of the guys and was very happy with the car in general, particularly in the 2nd half of the race.
 
I think these enduro race/shakedown test type casual races are a great way to get in some testing miles before the v8 season starts proper, stay tuned for next week's event mofo's

Great, hard fought, clean racing. Thoroughly enjoyed the night, managing a top 5 was good if not a little fortunate but I can't wait for the next one.
