Race Format:

Endurance Rounds:
 - 1 x 3 Lap Qualifying
 - 1 x 1 hour 20 Minute Race (approximately)

Sprint Rounds:
 - 1 x 3 Lap Qualifying
 - 1 x 15 Minute Race (approximately)
 - 1 x 30 Minute Race (approximately)
 - 1 x 15 Minute Race (approximately)

Race Rules:

Lapped cars
- It is the responsibility of the front runners to call blue flag if they come up behind a lapped car.
- It is the responsibility of the back runner to move off the racing line and allow the lead cars though at earliest convenience. Failure to do so is very naughty, and won't win you any friends.

Pit Stops
- Each car is required to undertake two pit stops during Endurance Rounds.
- Each car is required to undertake one pit stop per race during Sprint Rounds.
- These may not be taken in the last five laps (E) or last lap (S) of the race or at the end of the formation lap, and may not be within five laps of each other. (Lap 2,7 is fine, Lap 2,6 is not)

Restarts
- Drivers are expected to show caution during the race, restarts will only be called on the formation lap or the first lap of the race, these will only ball called for due to a lag incident involving more than 3 (three) cars.
- Drivers who damage another car during the formation lap will be required to start from the pit lane, thus forfeiting their position from qualifying, they may not start until all other cars have passed. This does not count as one of the mandatory pit stops.
- In the event of multiple cars requiring a pit lane start they must line up at pit exit in the order in which they qualified (fastest in front). They must still wait until all grid start cars have passed. This does not count as one of the mandatory pit stops.

Previous Podium Handicap (Endurance Rounds Only)
- The drivers that placed on the podium in the previous endurance race will receive a time added onto their end race time, depending on their finishing position:

1st = +5 Seconds
2nd = +3 Seconds
3rd = +1 Second

This will be calculated at the end of the race, positions may be lost through this, so front runners be aware.

- There will be +5 points for line honors, awarded to the first driver to cross the finish line on the final lap, regardless of handicap.

Well this is a pretty disappointing signup for the number of people who have visited the forum...

I think the word "Endurance" scares a lot of people off. If it doesn't say "V8Supercars" most people don't really care which is very disappointing.

It's one Saturday a month. Also there are going to be Sprint rounds as well. Eg Sebring will be 2x35min races as it is only a 12hr in real life. Laguna broken into 3x25 because it's only 1000km etc.

So we postponing this?

No we carry on like real men. I'll allow others to qualify over the week. Take a photo of the result if you want. I'll decide team leaders next week some time

Where can I post a Qualifying time my friend, and once again sorry I missed it couldn't organize myself out of a paper bag so far this year. I have put race one into my phone as a reminder this time though!
