Yeah, good to have the crew from zuffenhausen back in the game but agree 100% stikman.

They should have been in the game from day 1, no thanks to the politics being played by EA and T10 they weren't.

And it sucks 110% that we now get to pay (autobahn robbery at 1600 M$ points) for them as DLC if we want to drive them.

I'll be jumping in a RUF if I need a Porsche fix, unless they include some really special cars.

Thought I read somewhere, that the rights to use the Porsche's was only recently released by EA, and therefor available for T10 to use them. I bet they had them ready to go.

I will try and find where I read this...

EA is a stain on the gaming industry.

Borrowed Tiger12 from my little bro and had to pay 800M$ just to play online, then there's twice as many courses (1000's of M$) for d/l which don't just come with the game (probably all on disc). Along with the fact that if you want to fill out the last 10% of your golfers stats you need to purchase special clubs.

It's a marketing model that may bring in the big bucks and more and more companies are following suit... but that doesn't mean that it doesn't suck balls for the consumer.

I really hope the recently talked about "Valve console" comes to fruition soon with it's open development ideas.

I believe it also had something to do with Porsche not wanting their cars to feature in a simulation style game along with the EA crap.

Totally agree, but i gave up on not buying their stuff, because Mass Effect...

Good to hear Forza 4 selling so wonderfully. It's a sure thing forza 5 will be done. And so much for Shift lol
