OZFM Lotus Exige Cup - Tuesday 18th October

I’ve put this together to give our members a mini championship whilst we work out things in the new game, so it will be fairly relaxed but will teach you how to race in 16 player lobbies without clouting every car in front of you in the first turn - depending on its success we may run it again with different tracks next tuesday night

We will run 4 races at 4 different tracks - 8 laps per race (approx 16min per race) with a random grid. This will give you time to think about your passing moves - no one wins if you just go charging at the first corner.

Lobbies will open 9:00pm AEDT (8:00 QLD, 5:00 WA, 11:00 NZ)

It is important that someone in each lobbie gets a photo of the lobbie screen after each race - although it doesn’t show it you do accumulate lobbie points, this will be the easiest way to pick a winner for the evening. (Until I work out more of the game settings)

This series will be run to our regular Code Of Conduct (Link).

Please take extra care when re-entering if you make a mistake!

Redress any accidental punts when safe to do so - like pulling aside on the next straight - Stopping on the apex of a corner will only cause more havoc for those behind you!


What You Need to Do to Enter
Firstly you will need to buy a stock ‘06 Lotus Exige for 32,000 (you will win this back in tonight's races) Give it a coat of paint and add you race number if applicable.
3 rooms will be hosted - your class will be you rooms difficulty

Amateur - (Host needed)
Please le me know if you can host - you can get the lobbies settings from me online.

To sign up all you need to do is put you name down and nominate yourself in a class (see below)

Joining Lobbies
It will help if you have your rooms host on your friend list - but due to the size of the forum and number of members this might not be possible. Your host can send you an invite using the “Invite Club Members” option in game.
If you can not join straight away, try again. I have found a glitch where if to many people try to join the lobbie at once it wont let you join.

It is important that you restart your router/modem before joining the session for the night, this can fix any conflicting nat issues or connection problems.
