very nice mate, those settings for maple valley take a dump over mine haha. just watch the exposure though, the 2nd last one has too much glare on the bonnet. but the photos are awesome, ive got some more competition.

I kinda liked the glare on the bonnet on that one, I could have taken it off, but I figured it gave it a brighter feel, as maple tends to be a little dark in spots.

quick photoshop effort;

The fourth pic in the supra lot, how did you get all the detail in the headlight? I can't seem to get that same effect.

I have varied tastes yes, but mainly I was trying to get away from anything that had a Rotary engine for a change....

i stay away from anything that doesnt have a v8 (unless it looks good haha). and no worries mate.

Regarding posting photos in general - always hit Enter a few times between each shot, otherwise they become hard to distinguish which loses the "frame" of the photo.
I like the shots on the grass - makes a good change from the usual bitumen photos. I reckon that first one of the Charger could've been improved if the camera moved down and pitched up a bit. Would show off the lines a bit more.
I like the Porsche in front of the brick wall (like the first one better), and really like that last one.
I never write down my settings (yeah, I know I should). I just muck around with each shot.

Do you know whether or not we download the full res/size pic and host that on image site, then post that? Or do you dl the small preview pic and host and post? Because my shots look mad from flickr, but the small preview pic to flickr looks sad

reading through mcrow5's photo tutorial i decided to muck around with the camera and these are the results.

a bit better. any suggestions to improve ?

settings:
shutter 7
focus 40
apeture 30
exposure 78
contrast 25
colour 25
brightness 20

more colour, contrast, and shutter speed. other than that they are basically the same settings i use.

i think i used just a bit too much contrast in these shots

Hey n20, try hosting pics on flickr.com too because they seem to resize without detail loss. If fact, it makes your pics look ten times better!
