Hey guys just wanted to say hi and can't wait to race with you all. This site looks fantastic and if you read this Mitch, I love your seat and wheel setup you have. I like racing the V8's in cockpit view with no assists (not very well but I still like it). Please friend request me and I will see you all on the track soon.

Can I join the V8's tonight? Is there any specific rules regarding assists or can you have traction control on? I would love to atleast try a few qualifying laps.

G'day mate, welcome! There is spots free in each of the four V8 rooms racing tonight, the best thing to do would probably be to run a few laps at Maple Valley & post up your times in the "V8's Round 2 Discussion" thread. We can use your lap times to find the best room for ya to be in for good close racing.. Also there are no rules regarding TCS on or off, we ran it that way in the past but this series its all about the close racing, so feel free to run whatever assists you wish to. Smile

Remember not to pick a FORD to race in or you may find yourself having to get a lift with one of the HOLDEN guys when your car breaks down, ford = "f*&%(* on race day" hahahahahaha kidding!!

We run the V8's with all upgrades allowed except engine power, so basically upgrade yours to the Race Gearbox (adjustable ratios) & Race Driveshafts + Race Brakes (adjustable balance) & upgrade the Rims & you should get 727-729PI range then you are good to go!

Welcome champ. As per what Reapr said, except the bit about Fords. You may want to get in on one of the Pro-Am rooms to start with, send a PM to Dazza and he can sort you out, or post in the V8 thread. BTW OZFM team Ford will provide vinyls, tunes and spare parts (we need lots of these).
