Welcome

3 production cars representing America, Japan and Germany that have been pre-tuned to achieve the closest possible lap times to one-another while still providing a varied grid. Each car has similar run times, power output, top speed, weight, tyre width, etc. To ensure the best possible competition a safety car, mandatory pit windows and performance ballasts have been implemented. This is an endurance series with each race expected to run for 1hr and 30 mins each.

Cars

A maximum of 8 of each car may be chosen. Each car has been tuned by Holesom and those tunes must be run in this series. Search Equity Endurance on the storefront and load the tune. An alternate tune will be uploaded for each car, altering only brake pressure, for wheel users. The cars are as follows,

2015 Ford Mustang GT (Video)
Equity Endurance - Series Information 12719304_980212248720022_2453892526918461545_o
Featuring the highest power output, widest rear tyres and most American-ness. It’s a little squishy, easy to drive, slightly biased toward understeer and quick to leave a corner. Make sure you can walk because this thing is all torque.

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 (Video)
Equity Endurance - Series Information 12593721_980212198720027_2923945527683089858_o
Is German, is good. Horsepowers to rival the American, wheelbase of a pram. Direction changes are quick, allowing this car a responsive light feel. The 5.5L kicks this chassis through all 7 gears without you ever losing that butt firmly in seat feel.

2010 Nissan 370Z (Video)
Equity Endurance - Series Information 12794719_980212258720021_8154170768822096272_o
Low horsepower, quick acceleration. High corner speeds are where you will gain time in this car. It is the most responsive of the bunch and will keep you on your toes if you reach for the limit.

Team Rules

There is a team championship. Maximum of 3 people per team. Teams must run the same livery with only minor alterations to colour. Sponsors must remain the same. Teams must run the same car.

Race Format

Qualifying

There will be a 15 minute qualifying session to determine starting position.

Rolling Start Procedure

The 1st lap of the race will be formation, do not move off the start/finish line until your name has been called. The safety car will lead this lap. Speed will be limited to 80km/h throughout the entire lap. The safety car will return to the pits and the race will begin after the lead car has crossed the start/finish line.

Sebring (Night)Lap 8-11Lap 16-20Lap 24-28Lap 32-36
You are required to pit four times throughout each race, once during each of these windows. Missing a pit window, or ignoring a mandatory pit stop will see you forfeit points for that round.

Safety Car

Collision Procedure

Any accident involving 2 or more cars, resulting in damage to any involved cars, will call out the safety car. Following a crash, a ‘Yellow Flag’ will be announced in both parties. The safety car will exit the pits and lead the field at no more than 80km/h until all cars involved in the collision have repaired their damage and re-joined at the back of the grid.
Any crash where a driver has made an error and no other vehicles are involved, there will be a localised caution, and no safety car.

Notes

You may pit during a full track caution, however you will forfeit your position and re-join in last place. Drivers may race to the start/finish line on the same lap the Yellow is announced, after which pace must drop to a maximum of 80km/h.

Communications

The top 10 drivers and bottom 10 will be split into two parties. A race coordinator will be in each of these to inform each group of full track cautions. The lead car should inform a race coordinator if they are coming up behind a lapped car so that a track wide update may be issued to the slower party.

Special Rules

Lapped cars

- It is the responsibility of the front runners to call blue flag if they come up behind a lapped car.
- Slower drivers should hold their line during technical sections or corners and then pull to the side and let off the accelerator on straights to allow lead cars to pass. Failure to do so is very naughty.

Restarts

- Drivers are expected to show caution during the race, restarts will only be called on the formation lap or the first lap of the race.

- Drivers who damage another car during the formation lap will be required to start from the pit lane, thus forfeiting their position from qualifying, they may not start until all other cars have passed.

- In the event of multiple cars requiring a pit lane start they must line up at pit exit in the order in which they qualified (fastest in front). They must still wait until all grid start cars have passed.
Starts
- Any driver utilising their brakes to boost launch speed will forfeit one position for that race.

Corner Cutting

- Any repeated corner cutting to gain time or positions will result in loss of 10 points from driver championship for each offense.

Incident Report

Report any incident to a race coordinator within 24 hours of the race with a supporting clip.

Livery Rules

An Equity Endurance number board must be placed on the passenger and driver side, aswell as the roof or bonnet. The number board can be downloaded from the storefront by searching ‘Equity Endurance’ creator Holesom. Place your race number inside max 3 digits. You must also place your license class (Amateur, Pro-Am, Pro and Elite) in the top section of the numberboard.

You must also place a license class on your rear bumper. A flag and gamertag must be placed on the driver and passenger side of the car above or under the door window or quarter window.

Performance Ballast

Each podium finish you achieve incurs a 5% power penalty for the entirety of the series, to a maximum of 10%.

I wont be able to make the last round though.

Also Holesom: You realise that the last round for this is scheduled on the same night as the first round of the Group A Touring Cars?

Nice paint, hoping to see a few more teams come out of the woodwork. I am happy to change cars if all Nissan's are accounted for excluding me, as there are a few drivers who haven't yet selected a car.
