Patch 7 live!! Companion apps working!!

Patch 7.0 went live last night, fixing a few tyre issues.
Also added the ability to use companion apps such as pCars Dash and CrewChief.
I have been running CrewChief this arvo, very simple to setup and run, and getting much more pertinent track and spotter info. AWESOME!!

Details of the app pCars Dash are here. On a Windows device the app costs $4.89 AUD and looks incredibly useful although the device would need to be mounted in a good position.
I have not dropped the coin on it (yet) as I am still looking into how much it might help... or hinder.

CrewChief very handy during the race. Acts a ps a spotter so you can tell if cars are still beside you, gives lap and position advice and more.
Pock Race Trainer will also be handy to record and analyse race line, gearing, etc, when the developer finishes the UDP addition to access it.

How do you have it mounted? I dont have a wheel stand yet (looking at a few options) so am not sure how it will work.

Its about $5.89 on Andriod. Downloaded pCars Dash today, gonna give it a blast later tonight.

Can't agree with you more there, but I think I'll hang on to mine for wheel firmware upgrades, and to run CrewChief on until I can find something cheap and easy to substitute it with

I think CrewChief causes a bit of multiplayer lag, from what I'm reading, if you set UDP at 1 in the game. Tip is to run him with UDP 2 or even 3. I'll have to try this out.
