ATCC Series info

All drivers must read and abide by the OZFM Drivers Code of Conduct. Signing up in the sign-up thread means that entrants have read and acknowledged the Code of Conduct.
Any incidents requiring investigation should be reported to the series organiser or an Admin within 48 hours of the event, who will investigate and may penalise the person at fault. Penalties may include loss of points, and - for more serious offences - exclusion from the event. Hopefully this is not required though... Race clean, race hard and enjoy.  

Drivers must also have signed up for a COMS Racing License And Race Number.

- In the event of more than 24 sign ups, the championship shall be extended by 1 round with a room qualifier being held in the place of round one, with all races pushed back one week, and an extra batch of cars will be available. you cannot change cars if you have already chosen one of the first 24

Round Format:

Events will be held every Tuesday for 6 weeks starting 3/5/16.
Qualifying will be held on the night.

Each round will feature 1 race (1hr30min-2hr in length)

Lobbies will open at 8:30 Eastern Daylight Time, with qualifying commencing at 9:00 EDT.

Points

Each Lobby will have a minimum of 8 drivers (25 sign up = Lobby 1, 17 drivers, Lobby 2, 8 drivers).
The top 4 finishers in lobby 2 will swap lobbies with the bottom 4 finishers of lobby one for the following round.

Special Rules:

Lapped cars
- It is the responsibility of the front runners to call blue flag if they come up behind a lapped car.
- It is the responsibility of the back runner to move off the racing line and allow the lead cars though at earliest convenience(Straights recommended). Failure to do so is very naughty, and won't win you any friends.

Success Ballast
- The winner of a round will be subject to a performance handicap for the remainder of the series. Each round win will see the maximum PI for the vehicle driven be reduced by 10 PI points, to a maximum of 20 PI.

Restarts
- Drivers are expected to show caution during the race, restarts will only be called due to excessive lag incidents.
- Drivers who are at fault for causing damage another car during the formation lap will be required to start from the pit lane, thus forfeiting their position from qualifying, they may not start until all other cars have passed.
- In the event of multiple cars requiring a pit lane start they must line up at pit exit in the order in which they qualified (fastest in front). They must still wait for all grid start cars to pass.

There will be no safety cars in this series.

a) Are conversion or drive train modifications allowed?
b) Assuming this list is the basis for the Thursday night B class, so long as the build can hit 5.5 handling and come in above 1100kg with full race trim (brakes, cage, tires etc. but excluding weight reduction) then it is legal?
c) Tuning up to A700?
d) Is this Tuesday nights after the Touring Car Masters?

As with the Super 1600 Civic's, will keep a keen eye out for what night this will be on. BMW 635 would be my early choice.
