Club Racing Series

Welcome to the Club Racing Series, a series designed for the less quick drivers of OZFM. Entry is only open to people with a Pro-Am or Amateur licence.

This will be run on Friday nights for four weeks from the 6th of November 2015.

Each race will consist of a 3 lap Qualification session starting at 830pm.
This will be followed by two approx 50 km races.

The tracks;

• Bugatti (Night)
  
• Watkins Glen
  
• Brands Hatch
  

Eligible Cars;

Cars with a starting PI of between 470-485 are eligible for this series. As of today those cars are;

2011 Audi RS3 Sportback
1998 Toyota Supra RZ
1983 Audi Sport Quattro
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track
2014 BMW M235i
2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
1965 Alfa Romeo Guilia TZ2
2002 Chevrolet Camaro 35th Anniversary Super Sport
1997 Maserati Ghibli Cup
1986 Lancia Delta s4
1970 Ford Escort RS1600 F&F Edition
1997 BMW M3
2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe.

DLC cars will be eligible as long as they meet the criteria.
No more than 2 people may drive the same type of car.

Cars can be built up to C500 PI., however Engine and drive train swaps are banned.

Liveries are open as long as they follow normal guidelines of not being offensive, no tobacco, etc.

You will not need a number board, however your numbers must large enough to be recognisable. If you want to use one that's great.

Points;
Points will be awarded as such;

1st - 30 pts
2nd - 27 pts
3rd - 24 pts
4th - 22 pts
5th - 20 pts
6th - 19 pts
7th - 18 pts
and so on until 24th - 1pt.

1 additional point will be given for Pole Position and Fastest lap respectively.
Also 2 points will be given to the driver that makes up the most places during the race.

This looks good for us slow folks. Is it going to be a points championship?

Alfheim, that's OK mate, the series starts next week. This week is just to get the cars out and tested and to make sure I can get things running smoothly.

Sounds good Ratel, I'm real keen just not sure if I can commit at this stage, will choose a car over the next couple of days and see how I go, What will you be running?

I haven't decided yet. I thought as the organiser it would be fairer to wait until a few other people have chosen.

Can't find some of the cars on the list in Forza 6 and just want to check that you mean the cars can be built to C500 not B500??

That is 13 cars to choose from, so more than enough for a full lobby if we can get one.

Oh if Turn 10 release DLC that fits in, those cars will be eligible too. I'm a bit unsure of when the DLC is supposed to drop though.

Yeah we finished a while back.
