Muscle Car Masters - Series info

All drivers must read and abide by the OZFM Drivers Code of Conduct. Signing up in the sign-up thread means that entrants have read and acknowledged the Code of Conduct.
Any incidents requiring investigation should be reported to the series organiser or an Admin within 48 hours of the event, who will investigate and may penalise the person at fault. Penalties may include loss of points, and - for more serious offences - exclusion from the event. Hopefully this is not required though... Race clean, race hard and enjoy the first OZFM Touring Car Masters on Forza 6.  

Drivers must also have signed up for a COMS Racing License And Race Number.

All non mentioned parts are free for you to use, provided they do not conflict with any of the build restrictions.
Drivers are free to tune their cars as much or as little as desired.

Round Format:

Events will be held every Tuesday for 6 weeks.
Qualifying will be held on the night.
In the event of more than 24 sign ups, the championship shall be extended by 1 round with a room qualifier being held in the place of round one, with all races pushed back one week.

Each round will feature 3 races of roughly equal length (approx 25 minutes each)

Lobbies will open at 8:30 Eastern Daylight Time, with qualifying commencing at 9:00 EDT.

Each Lobby will have a minimum of 8 drivers (25 sign up = Lobby 1, 17 drivers, Lobby 2, 8 drivers).
The top 4 finishers in lobby 2 will swap lobbies with the bottom 4 finishers of lobby one for the following round.

The third season of the OZFM Muscle Car Masters series is a six round championship. At the completion of six rounds, each competitor's lowest points scoring round will be excluded from the season points tally, and the remaining points allocation will determine the series champion.

In the event of two or more drivers in a round scoring the same number of points, the driver with the higher placing in the final race is awarded the higher finishing position for the round.

In the event of two or more drivers scoring equal points for the season, the driver with the greatest number of race wins is awarded the higher finishing position. If this is equal, the driver with the greatest number of second place finishes for the season is awarded the higher finishing position, and so on.

Special Rules:

Lapped cars
- It is the responsibility of the front runners to call blue flag if they come up behind a lapped car.
- It is the responsibility of the back runner to move off the racing line and allow the lead cars though at earliest convenience(Straights recommended). Failure to do so is very naughty, and won't win you any friends.

Success Ballast
 - The winner of a round will be subject to a performance handicap for the remainder of the series. Each round win will see the maximum PI for the vehicle driven be reduced by 5 PI points, to a maximum of 10 PI.

Restarts
- Drivers are expected to show caution during the race, restarts will only be called due to excessive lag incidents.
- Drivers who are at fault for causing damage another car during the formation lap will be required to start from the pit lane, thus forfeiting their position from qualifying, they may not start until all other cars have passed.
- In the event of multiple cars requiring a pit lane start they must line up at pit exit in the order in which they qualified (fastest in front). They must still wait for all grid start cars to pass.

There will be no safety cars in this series.

A period correct type layout similar to what is used in both Muscle Car Masters or Touring Car Masters competition that will allow any current sponsor except tobacco.
