Re: Forza 6 Demo Incoming
A mate just mentioned that and also said "Out of the 25 tracks 7 can be played in the wet and 7 can be played at night."
Not overly fussed about not being able to shred rubber in dark wet places. They weren't doing it as well as Pcars managed to so I think why bother.

Play the demo and get the 2017 Ford GT added to your FM6 garage for free. Sounds good!

I am also pleased... Bit worried about the storefront though. Seemed like the same as F5.

I'm very interested what you wheel drivers with good force feedback think. I'm hearing once you've played Pcars and then go to Forza she's a little ordinary.

Agreed! very fun and love how Yas Marina looks at night and wet weather is awesome, small squals around the
track make you loose sight of where the track is heading and the puddles are lethal :-)
Was going to get the physical standard edition but think I need this Asap... (cringe) Ultimate edition purchase iminent...

Wheel on forza = bad, bad enough that I'd rather play forza with a pad.
Wheel on Pcars = Amazing
There's a few other things as well mainly the FOVyou can adjust the FOV in Pcars, but you can't in, and some of the FOVs in forza are absoultely horrible, to the point that its unplayable for me (im used to using the correct FOV for all sims). I hate the fact that even in the indycar on the demo the cockpit takes up most of the screen

Re: Forza 6 Demo Incoming
I never found a way to do it in F5, it could be done in F4 though, you had to turn triple screen mode on and then you could adjust it. I thought the ability to change it was lost with the loss of triple screen support

I'd agree with that - the wheel feel on Pcars is very good, although to get the most out of the ffb you need to put a lot of work into the ffb settings. I found that if you dont have the settings right, it can be an underwhelming experience. The feel of car control is still very realistic though, even if you havent got the ffb settings nailed. Forza ffb might be 'a little ordinary', but I wouldn't be as harsh as Hillcrest - when you consider that there are not a gazillion sliders to adjust for each car, I reckon it's not too bad a compromise...
I've recently moved from the Tx to the CSP V2, and the difference is huge - I've only given the FM6 demo a short go so far, but seems quite a bit better than FM5 with feedback.

Re: Forza 6 Demo Incoming
Well, it wasn't my intention to be harsh haha.
The main thing for me is that my wheel is on my desk with my PC and my xbone is on another side of the room connected to the home entertainment system and the tv.
For me playing any racing game on xbox involves moving a bunch of things around, and honestly I'd rather just play forza with a pad. Forza's pad support though is second to none and it feels great, their wheel support, well for me its not worth moving the xbox, unpluging and repluging everything in.
It was worth it for pcars, until now since xbox fails to launch the game
