The format lastnight was pretty crappy. It just felt like like it was going on forever. A 12-14 lap race with a mandatory pit stop would have made the race more exciting I think.

Well I had a fun race :-)
I think the whole point of the race length and the fuel etc is to force the choice of flat out and a pit or fuel saving and no pit but less pace. Mixes it up a bit.

Just checked the rules and I can't find any info, Hillcrest can you confirm that all the driver aids and line etc is ALLOWED, as it was all available in the race last night? Just asking because I think most people aren't running any assists but it would be nice for those people to know if anyone is.

I run line, but no other assists. It was a great format as reaps said, if we did shorter races it would just be two sprints with no need for a pit stop
