Xbone headset advice

Hey does anyone have any advice on headsets for the xbone? Not really sure how they hook up to the console, but would love not having to flick the controller every couple of minutes to stop the handset and headset from going to sleep (when playing with wheel). thanks!

Best advice i've heard is to plug the controller into the xbox so it doesn't go off. Can't believe we still dont have a wireless headset yet

Thanks Hillcrest, will try that. I've only just recently learned that apparently it doesn't go to sleep if plugged into the console - I'd only tried plugging into the wall.
I still want a better headset though - looking forward to full game and chat sound through the headset for pcars. Surely this is possible?
