OZFM Formula Ford Championship 2015
Sorry I could not get this up last night, my son was sick.
As with my old series events, this will be a two tier series, for different ability levels.
Car specifications
All cars
Ecoboost Formula Ford Car.

-Wheels may be changed as long as the weight is the same. Rim diameter must be stock.
-No modifications other than mentioned below.
Tier 1
-No wings.
-Stock tyre sizes.
-Race displacement. (2.0ltrs)
Tier 2
-Adjustable wings.
-Tyre width 195 at front and 225 at rear.
-No engine modifications.
Racing
-Two races per track.
-Two tracks per night.
-Random grid positions for the first race with reverse grid after that (if possible, random for all if not)
-No restarts after the 4th corner.
-Maximum two restarts per race.
-The winners of each of the races must race with DUB wheels; i.e. The really heavy ones, in the next weeks races. If they do not win any races in the next weeks meet, they are to revert to the stock wheels. If they continue to win, they must keep using the heavier wheels.

Wings are all adjustable regardless of trim. Stock wheels are several kilograms lighter than any in game wheel

Might have to fire Forza up again, wouldn mind doing this series, albeit slowly but looks like a good one.

Re: OZFM Formula Ford Championship 2015
I'm interested, don't care too much about tyres - whatever results in the biggest field would be my preference.
Hard to commit to a series without knowing dates though - is this for the end of the MCM series?

Re: OZFM Formula Ford Championship 2015
Ok, I've had a look at dates, and we'll start on the tenth of March at 830 Melbourne time. This will give us a Tuesday after the muscle car series to do any last minute fiddling and sorting out lobbies, tiers etc.

Re: OZFM Formula Ford Championship 2015
Anyone care to share a time for one of these? (In the tier 2 class) any track, just want something to aim for while trying to tune. Thanks

Re: OZFM Formula Ford Championship 2015
Sorry I haven't been around much in the last few weeks.
I'll be running a practice session tonight for anyone who is interested. just add me to your friends list.
For tier qualification, if you could post up times around Long Beach in this thread by next Sunday night I'll sort out the rooms for Tuesday. Also could you post a photo of your car as well.
After a bit of consultation, we'll run stock tyres on all cars.
Hope to see you soon.
