The return
Thanks to everyone for gathering on such short notice. I am here today to announce my return to Forza and OZFM!
I recently purchased a Xbox One and while I have enjoyed my time away from the sport the burning desire has been reignited in my belly! Some may ask what I have been doing with my time off, so I'll guess I'll start from where I left almost two and half years ago. If you are a tl;dr kind of guy (or gal, if there has been any sign up since my absence) just skip to the end sign off…
I finished my placement at Madman and went back to my final year of tertiary studies (Graphic Design). A couple of weeks down the track I got the call back to Madman and have been working there since. Working at Madman has been great and I've been fortunate enough to save my pennies and buy one of my dream cars. A grey 2008 WRX STi Spec R. I admit I wasn't a huge fan of the new shape when they came out and I loved my GC8 (RX) to bits but the new shape/style won me over.
I also received a Rally Drive day down in Werribee for my 21st birthday, where I drove a '06 WRX and a snooze fest VY V8 Commodore Ute (PSA: Utes do not make fun rally cars!).
Went down to Phillip Island and raced the Go-Karts down there where I managed to get the Fastest Lap Time of the day. Didn't win anything, only bragging rights over my mates. My girlfriend and I went back down in January this year naturally we had to go again. This time (being peak holiday season) I didn't get the fastest lap but I did race (and overtook) Tony D'Alberto. Again not a huge achievement but racing against him and his friends/family was heaps of fun and only being .4sec of his time I was pretty stoked.
Apart from that there's not really much else to share. Most of all I'm looking forward to getting back out on the track with you guys.
fez.

Yep. Coolest guy in F1, Shattered to see him finish like that last week though.

Yeah, it was a shame. Was hoping we might have seen a charge through the pack but never mind.
Hopefully he finds his form again soon.
