July car pack

July Cars Coming Tuesday!
Folks, a new DLC car pack is coming to Forza Motorsport 5 on Tuesday, July 1. Normally we’d do a “clue” thread in the forums, dropping some delicious hints about the next pack of cars. However, with John on vacation this week, we haven’t been able to do a traditional thread. That said, I’ve got a couple of teases for you about next week’s pack that will hopefully whet your appetite for what I believe is one of our strongest FM5 packs yet. Here we go:

Car 1
Another “Grand Prix Legend”.

Car 2
Ascari almost won in it.

Car 3
Pure poison.

Car 4 
Ferdinand Porsche designed cars other than VWs and Porsches.

Car 5
It ain't a Beauville, and I never understood that name.

Car 6
Around the farm this old boy would serve you well.

Car 7
"last of the V8 interceptors"

Car 8
You don't have to jump through quite as many rings to to spin up thiS ride. But the driving experience is Still sure to Satisfy.

Car 9
One of the rungs on the ladder to being immortalized as a racing hero.

Car 10
It was accused of copying the Mustang, and is considered anything but dull by JDM enthusiasts. 

There you go: Clues about all of the cars in next month’s pack. One note for those who aren’t aware: the July Car Pack in Forza 5 is included as part of the Forza 5 Car Pass. If you already own a Car Pass, you’ll be getting Tuesday’s crop of new cars at no additional charge. In addition, as with all Forza 5 DLC cars, if you have purchased either the pack or individual cars, you’ll be able to add those cars to your Forza 5 garage without needing to spend additional in-game credits or tokens. Bring on Tuesday!

Sounds like it, Also 9 could be another formula car like F3 or GP2

yep just got it from store but there must be patch to use them

Looks like you can download it but no access to any cars till it is officially released. The 3 cars listed were mentioned in the Car Pack info.

So some cars to go with the brabham and old Maserati.

Looks like a huge update.
Just started the download and once I could start the game up I checked on the new cars. Not only the new ones downloading but another 20 or so other cars (on disk and DLC) getting an update as well. Wonder what is being updated? hmmmmmm....
None of the cars from the AWD series had a download icon but anyone part way through makig up a series or re-running an old multi-car series might want to double check all the specs and PI incase of any changes.

Trying to find the size of the update.

I've started the update (without first checking it's size) and realized iv gone over my monthly data allowance = update will not download Does 835mb sound right?

835MB sounds right for a car pack.

When I said "Looks like a huge update" I was referring to the amount of cars it was updating. 10 cars for the pack and updates for 20 others.

Hi folks,

As most of you know, today we released our most recent DLC pack and content update for Forza Motorsport 5. You can read all about the DLC -- the Hot Wheels Car Pack -- over here.

In addition to all the new cars, we've got some other updates in this CU, including some new challenges -- one of which is the Silverstone Grand Prix, which kicks off in two days. Just as with our previous challenges, you can earn a new badge and title for your FM5 profile by completing this challenge (complete a race in the Silverstone Grand Prix Hopper and drive at least 125 miles in the event).

We have also made improvements to Drivatar traffic behavior in the game. Drivatar is a continuously evolving feature and we have learned a tremendous amount since the launch of Forza 5. Most recently, as we have placed Drivatars on the open roads of Forza Horizon 2, our understanding and refinement of the feature has given us the opportunity to continue to advance and improve Drivatar behavior in our games.
