Struggling quite a bit with getting decent times in the evo if anyone is able to help with a tune it would be hugely appreciated

Not that i plan on changing anyway, are the cars now locked in or can entrants still change them if they wish?

I would prefer a good mix of cars and that people stick to their choice. In saying that, I have no problems people changing cars/builds etc. for example, if you are kicking but n one car and think it may be more challenging or rewarding for y to grab a different car, then go ahead. All about having some "not so serious" close racing before we get down to business next V8 series.

Will upload my ST205 GT4 Celica tune if you want to take it for a spin manic.

Not sure who I took out in R1 on Tuesday with that 'touch of lag', but apologies to whoever it was. I can guarantee that it wasn't a connection problem, it was because of the brainfarted idea to turn my controller back on while in traffic. Won't happen again   

All good cosmic, race 1 i knew what had happened, i stuffed up earlier and clouted Nick (?).

Race 2 i just ended up in the wall when i was having a good battle with sempr/reapr/dukey, could have been lag though

I had a fair bit of lag Tuesday night so sorry about that guys, we lost power due to the weather on Tuesday morning and the net has been messing around since then. It seems to have settled but I'll make sure it's all set for tuesday

Cheers recoil. I will do that. I made some changes to my tune yesterday, I managed to get more torque out of it while decreasing the weight and am now consistently lapping low 1:02's at RA club and have put it into the 1:01's on the odd lap. I will put my tune up for you if you would like to have a look. It's very stable and driver friendly. I will use the same share string, and will put it up tonight.

I had a go with your tune recoil, and pretty sure the build was speedier, but found the car fairly loose, which i've heard is faster if you're a skilled enough driver. Wasn't faster for me hehe... Didn't see yours Manic but will look again tonight.
My 94 Celica tune is shared with ozfm in description, I find it much easier to drive, but like I said I think it is slower. Be interested to know what you guys think.

I trail brake when racing, so your braking almost right to the apex. As soon as you lift off the breaks and pick up the throttle the car should turn in.

New member here. I'm signing up for my first series - the AWD! One thing I didnt see in the info posts was what time it starts (maybe I missed it?). Can someone enlighten me?

Also, as this will be my first private multiplayer game in FM5, how do I join?

Hey man, add a bunch of us to your friends list and someone will be more than happy to help you out tomorrow night joining the lobby. It can sometimes be frustrating.  

Round 2 race 3 I hade a awesome race with Warhawk he came out in front   that was good racing see you all again Tuesday.

Cant say im a fan of the safety cars, they cause more issues then there worth (either by lag or incidents as so as you restart) after all, safety cars produce safety cars.

Also, it just promotes bad driving. Now it doesn't matter if you crash into someone because the whole room will wait while you pit, fix you car, then rejoin only to cause another problem/incident and then the whole room can wait while you get fixed again.....

On another related note.... I have been looking forward to doing the Formula Fords on Drag tyres because they are easy to drive and it would add a good strategic element to the racing on here.....

But i cant see it even being remotely strategic because every race will end up with a safety car after Twaddles crashes into Muppet on lap 3 with a pass that would never work.
Just before the safety car peels off and the room prepares to hit the green flag xyxLAGDEAMONxyx then wipes out half the field with lag because his brother decides to watch some porn, causing another safety car and disadvantaging all the people who he just totaled as they will now loose the current positions and have to re-join the que at the back.

So if this was a 10 lap race:
3 laps racing - Crash - safety car
2 laps Safety car - ready for green - Lag Crash
3 more laps of safety car as the poll axed people limp to the pits - Green Light Racing
Frig yeah! 3 lap race! .... and only half the night has spent parading around the track in single file!
