I heard there selling XB1's with out Kinect at a price drop!! Hang on, I think that happened last night, reference the blue thumbs up social media page.

I have heard a rumor about Minecraft next gen editions by September

Xbox one price drop, rewarding loyal customers by punching them in the face! Yay lovin it. Hopefully those of us who bought full price with something (free game please), but I highly doubt it

It's a price drop because they're offering a version without Kinect. the full bundle is still the same price.

I was gonna say Kinect was a pos but then I remembered it actually is good for Skype...

I heard these about a week ago by machinima.

Games for Gold on X-Bone to come in june

I love being right.

First step in the right direction, but i'm not paying the same amount for a Xbone as I did a PS4.

edit: Also, in case you missed it, Games for Gold is now basically copying the PS+ model, where to get those free games you have to have a subscription. So long as they actually offer decent games, its about time they actually make XBL gold worth something.

You won't be able to you voice commands

That's pretty much it, I only have mine plugged in to record game clips, half the time it takes to long to register it and misses what I was trying to record. Not really worth the extra money, if I was buying one now id buy without kinect

Yes.

Here is why imo, if as xbox console owners we don't support Kinect then the developers probably wont either, meaning less games for Kinect, big name games not using Kinect as a feature to enhance the gameplay, ie racing car games and moving head to look into corners, currently there is only a few games that truly are for Kinect, Kinect Sports Rivals, xbox fitness and just dance 14, we own all three and the kids love it(secretly I don't mind it either at times) and xbox fitness is a pretty awesome workout, all surprisingly accurate.

Kinect is what sets xbox apart as it better than the PS4 eye, its good to use in the living room with voice commands(if it can hear you) and social media/skype, xbox on' off why you do something else or pass through before coming back to use it ect ect, and xbox record that is pretty cool, these things you cant do with out it.

People who don't use it (Kinect) or never have just pass it of as a gimmick, but it is really really good and takes some adapting to but I think is well worth it and makes the xbox console more complete, a better experience, sure some will disagree and say they used it but don't anymore and that's fine and have there reasons, Kinect will get better as time goes on with updates, games, apps and us the users use it more and more, this is why I think we should support it and use Kinect with our consoles.

I hope game developers keep producing even more games for Kinect, as I think it is worth it and look forward to whats next with its capabilities and gameplay.

50 bucks cheaper than a PS4 with Forza included, and thats EBGames' price. I'll be back soon it seems.
