Crackdown is surprisingly good fun. Kinda stupid, and the mechanics of climbing are dreadful after playing Assassin's Creed, but there's something fun about roundhouse kicking a car into a guy who's currently shooting you. :-)

Rainbow 6 Vegas is a good game and worth the DL. I have both 1 and 2 but have not played 1 for ages... Might be time to dust it off and play it again. It has CoOp for the story and a few other multi-player modes that should keep you occupied till the next freebie.

Yep worth downloading, and even world series poker not to bad either, for memory Rainbow 6 was a bit over 6gb download and poker just over 1gb or there abouts.

The next set of free games for Xbox Live Gold Members in January will be Sleeping Dogs and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

Starting Wednesday (January 1st) Sleeping Dogs (Normally US $19.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through January 15th .

Then on January 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (Normally US $14.99) for free.

The “Games With Gold” program gives Xbox LIVE Gold Members 2 free games to keep each month. A new title will be available the 1st and 16th of each month.

BTW, for those grabbing Sleeping Dogpoo, there are a couple of DLC packs that are free as well: The Ghost Pig Pack & The Community Gift Pack.

And for Lara Croft GoL there is the Kane & Lynch Character Pack for free.

Games with Gold coming to Xbox 1 in June 2014, and Netflix, Hulu Plus, and HBO GO will no longer require gold membership to access, although I believe they have their own subscription fees.
