OZFM Super Touring Cars
What is it?
The 'OZFM Super Touring Cars' is a touring car racing series held this year on THE INTERNET. It was established in March of 2013 as the OZFM Super 2000 Touring Car Championship and was renamed the OZFM Super Touring Cars in April of 2013. The championship will been run in compliance with the OZFM Code Of Conduct.
When is it?
This series will be run on Tuesday nights from the 18/06/2013 to the 13/08/2013 (9 events).
How does it work?
The night will start with an 8-minute qualifying session, which determines the starting order for the first race, the fastest driver lining up in pole position. This will be conducted at 9pm, any who join after this will start from the back of the grid for race 1.
The result of race one determines the grid order for race two (i.e. the winner starts on pole).
For race three, a draw takes place to decide at which place the grid is 'reversed'. This means drivers finishing 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th in race two could take pole position for race 3 depending on the outcome of the draw. For example, if the number 7 is drawn, the driver finishing in 7th position in race two starts on pole, 6th place starts in second place, 5th place starts in third etc. Drivers finishing in 8th place and beyond would start race three in their finishing order for race two. The draw will be determined by a random number generator.
Grid positions will be organised through a formation lap at the start of each race, it is up to the lobby host or a predetermined member of the lobby to organise the starting order.
No tyre warming exercises may be completed during this formation lap (to avoid collisions)
Grid position penalties may be issued for on track misconduct.
There is also the possibility of championship point penalties if it is deemed necessary, this will be determined by an external party in a race stewards room.
How is it scored?
Points:
- No driver may collect more than one "Lead a Lap" point per race no matter how many laps they lead.
How do I sign up?
Drivers must be in a team in order to enter this race series, individual entries will not be permitted.
You must team up with ONE other driver of choice (ie. only teams of two will be allowed).
Teams are expected to run identical liveries (save race number and driver name).
Teams are expected to select their car before signing up.
Each car will only be able to be selected once. Once all cars have been selected, a second tier of selecting will be opened up for other teams (All cars must be selected before a car can be selected twice)

Re: OZFM Super Touring Cars
All the current builds are on my storefront. Looks pretty even.
Some of the ones in the table are a bit wrong. So just grab them off my Storefront.

Cool. I'm a real team player though and recognise you're the best chance for points so you choose whatever car you'd do best in and I'll be fine.

Re: OZFM Super Touring Cars
Cars are looking ridiculously even at present.
Going to chuck up a disclaimer about possible mid season PI nerfing for those that are bullshit fast after tuning.
Will be sending out the templates over the next week to any interested.

Re: OZFM Super Touring Cars
"Success Ballast", shame we don't have it in game but power or grip handicaps are. Maybe some testing on this? I know there are haters of this but they use success ballast in a lot of motorsport so Forza's handicaps might be an option rather than butchering the car build.Dektra wrote:

Almost got them done the for cars I have. Will add the last few decals, save them and gift them over to you. All you have to do is the DLC I don't have.Dektra wrote:
