How to change your Big End Bearings...
First you need to gain access to the bearing...
Bought this Toyota Paseo as a parts car for my daughters Paseo. The car itself is in great condition, just has a loud noise coming from under the bonet and if you run it for a while there is some smoke coming out of these cracks around the edge of the bonet...

Whilst I find this guide slightly informative and heart warming, I feel it lacks substance and could be misleading...

LOL.
Hope the parts needed was not to much internal engine related.
Actually years ago I dropped some bearings out of the engine while doing a 100ks down the high way in a Toyota camry wagon, heard the rattle start but thought bugger it then it started knocking really loud, then bang and part of the engine was left on the tar mac and could hear pieces hitting the undercarridge of car while we still driving along, still kept the foot into it but she died and I had to walk.

No, my daughter paseo has only done 90k, and mechanically is in really good shape. Mainly body parts, she reversed out of a car park and swung the nose in to a pole... Guard, blinker, front bumber etc.

Love the port job on the block Dazza.
Does that mean you'll be fitting body panels for Christmas?

I spun a big end bearing in a Gemini once, drove it 60ks home doing 40kmh in 4th. Made it home and did a hell of a skid before it went bang.
