LIZBEFF GARAGE
Yesterday I sold the Stato (surprise) and now I have a VN daily and a new (hopefully long term) project car.
Project "Budget 31" is this mint Series 2 R31 Skyline on dedicated gas. Short term plans are suspension and body work, long term is a RB20 or RB25 swap depending on how boring I can be and how much I can budget.
Picking up the 31
One of my "mates" got creative in photoshop
"Before" shots
This weekends fruit pile: S13 Silvia front coilovers, lower control arms, hubs, rotors, calipers, extra lock steering knuckles and swaybar. R33 Skyline drivers seat. 16x8 meshies. R33 Superlow King Springs.
Shiney!
Before and after on the difference in steering lock
That's front suspension almost done. I need rack spacers because my steering arms are too short so the front wheels have too much toe out. Tomorrow seat goes in, as well as rear springs and the diff is being locked. I'll raise the front coilovers a little once I get the rack spacers in. Hope you guys enjoy this build thread.

Re: LIZBEFF GARAGE
Today's crew
DRiFT steering wheel on S13 bosskit
R33 seat installed, sits a lot lower than the standard seat and has better lumbar support
Standard R31 springs versus R33 King Springs
Minus 2 more coils
R31 Ti rims are possibly the gayest on earth, so matt black it is
Gotta stay fueled
How it sits today compared to yesterday morning, no money spent today either. Rear still sits too high but should have rear coilovers soon.
This is my mate's drift car, I call it the Toyota Table

Re: LIZBEFF GARAGE
Got some interior work to do there mate, looking a little worse for wear. Nice drop work btw, looking good. Going for a new set of rims one day or sticking with those?

Re: LIZBEFF GARAGE
Haha that's just how I like my interiors mate sticking with these wheels at the moment. Got the 16's up front, a pair of 15's and 3 pairs of 14's for skid rims. A N/A RB30 on dedicated gas isn't that much of a powerhouse so the plan is to try and pop the motor at the next drift practice at Mallala, then RB20DET conversion.

Nah just popped the tire. Hunting for new front coils as mine are hammered. And my hydro was gay and decided not to work all day

Re: LIZBEFF GARAGE
How soft are you drifters these days? Back in the day we had no such thing as run off. There wasn't a lot to hit in Wingfield but certainly no run off

Re: LIZBEFF GARAGE
If you couldn't find anything to hit in Wingfield you weren't going hard enough
Going out on track's cool, you can really push yourself without fear of taking some random person out in an accident or loss of license. I get my fulls next week *touch wood* maybe the 31 will make a street appearance when I have 12 demerits to play with

Re: LIZBEFF GARAGE
Haha patience Ssemper, I've spent a lot of time searching for a good motor. Picking up a RB20DET next friday for $800 (already paid deposit) It has been rebuilt and is coming out of an ex-show car VL. Includes long motor all accessories, manifolds, loom, and an unlocked (remapped) ecu tuned for a TD06. I picked up another complete motor with low compression in the 5th cyl for $500, so I also have spares of everything and this one also has a standard RB20 turbo.
Will have some progress next weekend hopefully, The list before Matsuri in early march includes: Motor swap, surge tank or fuel cell and pumps, intercooler and piping, new rear brake setup and tune. So I'll be broke for the next 2 months
Enough for ya Ssemp?

Re: LIZBEFF GARAGE
Uhh here is an update to what's been happening over the last couple of months
New wheels!
Car had been sitting out the front waiting for a 20
30 coming out
20 sitting in the bay
Turbo fitted
Picked up a Louvre for it
Intercooler "in" the car
Fitting the cooler
How it's sitting today. Just need to finish the fuel system, get the wiring done and tune... Almost there
And here's Libeff Garage's other project, a RB25 Cressida
