Auscar/Nascar Road Series
I was watching an old OZFM video on youtube of a forza 3 auscar series and it got me thinking, how about an Auscar road series?

Re: Auscar/Nascar Road Series
Good idea. Throw in some Oval tracks as well.
I'm not a massive oval track fan but over the last couple of years have watched a fair bit of Nascar (mainly since Ambrose has been racing in it) and think it might be kinda fun bump drafting OZFM'ers with 16 cars around an oval in FM4.
Maybe half oval, half road circuit series, and cars should remain stock for close racing and no tuning advantages.

Re: Auscar/Nascar Road Series
the #1 reason why I loathe Nascar is the stupid oval tracks. it's the most boring thing to watch in the professional sporting arena.
If I run the series, it will feature no ovals for that reason.
as for the half ovalhalf road tracks, indy is the only real one on there so i wish to utilise that and not the turn 10 fake crap.
I just thought it up then posted it here,
so I'll have a muck around with the cars and will add some info here once i'm done to gain interest.
thanks guys

Re: Auscar/Nascar Road Series
ive been racing the nascars in 800pi races on normal tracks and have won nearly every race they are such a good car to drive .... race on two tracks each meet one at the normal track and one on the oval some people will be good at the ovals and some good and normals will be pretty good

Re: Auscar/Nascar Road Series
I pretty much exclusively raced with the yanks around the ovals in these beasts for about 6 months in F3. It's definately a fine art and takes quite a bit of getting used to/adjusting your driving style.
I like the sound of just the circuits, so +1 from me.
