A thick slab of wood underneath the table will help the clamps grip securely as the clamp works much better on thicker surfaces, if your not able to bolt it to anything.

Mr T,
I know you've already found this out, but the fanatec system is integrated wireless in the wheel on the xbox. You don't have to use the wireless dongle (if you got one). USB connection or wireless with dongle is for PS3 and PC.

Got it worked out now.
PS i saw your gear change (up down) mod.....i like it as it is out of the box haha im sure the way it is standard is how it is in the V8 cars i.e pull back for up gear push forward for down??
thought it was classic

Yesterday I was having too much fun... painting Laughing

I did the shifter mod because my brain said pull back to shift up etc.
Whichever way works for each of us is as it should be.
I checked some V8 Supercar incar footage during the year and I reckon its a team/driver choice there as well.
I'm sure I've seen drivers pulling back to shift up and push forward for downshifts. Like I said, doesn't matter what works for you works.
