Manufacturer Affinity
I've been wondering, how many people are attempting to level up their affinity? Also, which manufacturer you are using?
I found this quote by Turn10 interesting: " Our target was to have less than one percent of our players have any manufacturer up to level 50 within 24 months."
In my opinion, Challange Accepted. I've been using BMW and I am currently on level 14.

Im up to at least 5 or 6 with several manufacturers. Based on to the cars racing against you - it could be worth swapping them out.

Re: Manufacturer Affinity
I am focusing on Ford, Subaru and Nissan and have them up to about 8-9.
I think once we get into things, most of us will have Ford or Holden maxed out in no time.

Re: Manufacturer Affinity
Yeah level 50 is going to take quite a while, I have a BMW at the top of nearly every class though so I'm steadily making my way through the ranks.

Re: Manufacturer Affinity
That's quite a challenge set forth by T10 isn't it? I mean check out the leaderboards in FM3 to see how many folks play the game and how many of those wouldn't get anywhere near lvl 50 with the affinity. Do you reckon our group of folks here at OZFM would even put a dent in that 1%?
I'll probably end up with Ford or Holden first before much else... maybe BMW or Toyota...

Re: Manufacturer Affinity
I am at level 9 with Aston Martin, and about 6 or 7 I think with Audi, BMW and Lambo. It's a good way to get extra cash - As an impatient man who doesn't have as much time to devote to the game as I would like, I got $35k for Lvl 9 with Aston, and it makes upgrades/buying tunes much easier.

Re: Manufacturer Affinity
Yeah, it is a pretty good way to make extra cash, I'm at about 16 or 17 now and getting about $85k or something each level. I probably make more money from one affinity level than I do in all the races it takes to get to the next level.
