FM4 Autocross

So i have been getting into this a fair bit. Easily my favourite game mode of FM4 and was wondering if anyone else has had a crack at this? i know i could just look at the leader boards but was trying to raise more awareness of this mode so we could get some more ozfm+friends up there and stick it to those yanks.

Considering that i never cracked a top 100 or ever 150 leader board time in FM3 pretty stoked to make the top 10 (out of 3845, not alot i admit) on the A600/Sunset in my little home built 22B. Now just have to work on a paint scheme.

I've had a couple of autocross events in career mode and they're good fun.
Haven't tried leaderboard for them yet.

Maybe an option to use this mode in a forum race somehow.

Was chasing one of your times fez.. but no luck.. then i tried to catch teeroys time. on mugello Autocross.. teeroys worth a 50k bounty

easily my favourite format for Fm4!
Im pretty sure most of my bountys are 50K as i have quite high on the LB scores atm so go get em.

I was thinking about trying to squeeze these into a few series events kinda like we used to squeeze a drag race into the end of our V8 series rounds?

Auto cross is definitely a great way to learn car control. Plus their great fun

i love auto cross, its a real challenge, you have to get the car perfectly lined up.

I imagine this game mode will end up being very reliant on tuning as every single single second counts. It's a pretty fun and interesting game mode and I will definetly be challanging your times later today fez.

I keep hitting the stupid barrels with my mirrors, or the side of the car drifting.

very frustrating but the satisfaction when you nail the clean lap is worth it.

Such a fun mode with a wheel!! I think it would drive me insane if I used a controller in that mode.

I tryed just nailing a quick lap and not worrying about the gates. Got like 7 minutes of penalty time, but its fun ploughing through the signs

I still haven't managed to get a clean map yet. I really should get around to making a car specific for Autocross.

I'd be all for a bit of organised Autocross action, it's certainly a nice change of pace in FM4. One of the earlier season races had me going around Silverstone in Autocross setup and I decided to use the 2010(?) Camaro instead of some fine handling machine, was a lot of fun to do

clean map niccaz? hahah yeah there's an achievement for making ten races clean... still dont have it. stupid barrels!

if you want the achievement, go really slowly, really really slowly. easy!

Yeah fez. I'm a terrible speeler I have tried going really really slow but I'm quite an impatient person haha. I guess its not gonna kill me to go slower though.

no way man, give it herbs and get a clean time really satisying when ya get it.

GUys im gonna see if i can run a few of these tomorrow night for us to enjoy, not usre how we set it up online stylz though so if someone can check it out tonight it'd be great.

Also going to run a few casuals V8 supercar runs tomoz night also prior to getting something regulated for next tuesday onwards

ripped through the first 3 tonight. 17th overall on the indionapolous (how do you spell it lol?).

I had a few runs at fez's times earlier tonight. By a few runs I mean, enough to make me angry but leave my controller on one piece haha. Those times are way to quick for me. Even with rewind on, which causes a dirty lap anyway, I still couldn't beat them.

i got a few back last night fellas!


we cant run this format online, bugger, might have to just run it whilst all in party or somethin.....wicked times getting dropped fellas and OZFM sit 21 on the LB's for it overall.
I think we can get much higher so keep pushing.
also most of our top times are now worth 150K so its good money

gotta say ben, your first half of the nurburgring was tough to keep up with. i reckon if you can get the last half of the lap perfect you'll be in for a great time (pun intended )

i still cant believe im 17th for the indy one though, but god damn that one is fun!
