Anyone playing with this?
Feel like a drunk when I use it. All over the shop. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
Virtual wheel is a BIG FAIL. Tried it with the kids and they got tired before the end of one lap. It constantly lost my connection when playing split screen so accurate racing was impossible.
I do love the voice commands to move through menus though.

I moved the seat back a bit and now head tracking seems a lot better.

I've been using it in all my races. I like it. It's helpful with tight corners and you can follow your line through a corner better. You don't get that blind spot on the left/right on your windscreen like you sometimes did in fm3. It also feels like you're more engaged with the car, and thus more realistic. I had a few problems with it at the start but if you just center yourself properly it works fine.

I'm using it in both the bonnet and cockpit views, I'm not sure if im sold on it yet, especially in the cockpit view, it seams to much of a distraction to look in to the rear view mirror.

But will continue with it for a while

Only used it twice so far once for head tracking the other for the virtual wheel. Head tracking seems good but you do need to fine tune the sensitivity a bit. As for the virtual wheel i did half a lap on infineon and gave up. You really need to adjust room lighting for it to be spot on but i guess playing with a window behind you wont help Razz

A couple of guys are finding headtracking works for them.
I have turned it off for now, find the movement jerky and doesn't go as far as I'd like. Also it can get confused if you move your hands.
I will be trying it again when I've had more time in the game.

It's working great for me. At the start it was jerky, but I moved my seat a little further back and now its not. Also, I find if you put the multi screen on and change views to 90 Degrees, you get to see a lot more of the car. I'm very used to looking into corners now.

I had a quick go at this today. Seems to work pretty well if you can get in the exact correct position, unfortunately for me my room isn't quite the right layout for it so I have had to turn it off again. Seems like I will be moving my furniture soon though.

Yeah I heard about that a while ago, I think it was Nyko or something that were making it, wasn't out last time I checked though. I probably should take another look.

So head tracking works when using a zoomed in 'multiscreen' view?

good one!! Im glad it works for youbut i think that kind of makes it impossible for me as i have a rig which i cant see placing myself 3 mts from screen with a pair of binoculars strapped to my head. I wonder what Kinect would think of that, probably thinks theres somekind of animal in the room Smile
