OZFM Club Members!
Hey guys,
Just a heads up for all of our OZFM car club members:
The new Private racing lobbies has this rather awesome option of "INVITE CLUB MEMBERS" - this will send a Invite to the game to every OZFM club member that is online.
Its a very good way to fill rooms to 16 thats for sure.
It also means you can invite OZFM members that are not on your friend list providing there part of OZFM Car Club.
If you cant run then just ignore the invite, i had a number of people replying to the invite who couldn't race last night. (thanks for replying but not needed)
Cheers

Re: OZFM Club Members!
can i add 1 thing though guys just a quick thought about addidng cars is there a way where the founders can control volume of cars that go in the garage as if they arent fun to drive or competitive i can see we are going to have to sort through thousands of cars and could become an issue
just my 2 cents

I second this. I put some cars in there yesterday cause I wanted to see where you can use them.
They are only available for online racing, you can't use OZFM garage cars for career as far as I could work out. Bummer!!
I noticed there are lots of cars in there already (ie, 2-3 of mine) that are just stock cars, which kinda defeats the purpose of them being there. I will be removing mine, but perhaps we could have a gentleman's agreement to only put cars in there which serve a specific purpose? I.e., super rare, tuned, etc.
Does anyone know if there is any way to attach some sort of title or message to the car, or put them in groups? I.e. a message saying it's a tag car, bowling, slalom, online etc.

Re: OZFM Club Members!
Lol I was going to reply saying I was busy in career, but luckily I actually thought that maybe the car club system was smart enough to have something like this. I can see this being pretty helpful.

Re: OZFM Club Members!
Yeah, pleas dont upload cars if there garbage/untuned/uncompetitive - there is no other nice way of saying it
All good feral!
I have worked out a way with the new settings to run a Public Lobbie
It will be in the "user created" section after you click on circuit racing.
They'll be named:
AUS NZ JPN HOT LAPS
or
AUS NZ JPN B Class
-------------------------
My name in your friends list will have "PUBLIC Joinable" under it, or you can go through the "race online" "user created session" way

Re: OZFM Club Members!
I uploaded a Scud a couple of days ago ( not sure if its a unicorn or not) it imported across from FM3 i had is a little tuned shock damp rebound ride height and brake bias adjusted i haven`t checked if those settings have migrated i will check tonight sorry about that
if you don`t mind i have a FM3 habit of tuning R32 skylines to A class and editing the livery to the 1991 winner
if nobody objects i will upload that to the garage
also maybe use the forums to suggest tuning tweaks to garage cars?
Thanks again

Re: OZFM Club Members!
Boys, long time. Was reading the above posts about untuned cars being posted and completely agree, Ive got a few ive been working on but dont want to put them up because of the volume of cars already there. Sorry for saying a lot of them are CRAP!!! I will keep working on tunes for know with a view to uploading them when this is sorted out.
Cheers boys, good to be back.
P.S love the new site, also love that i can still see a few of my touches here and there.

Re: OZFM Club Members!
I've put a couple of ones with a decent enough tune on, the RX-7, M3 (both of these have changed since i uploaded them, but i'm not keen to share those ) and the SC300. Also got my V8 up there only because i wanted some opinions on what its like really.
Pulled a few down recently mainly because i do agree, its getting a bit messy.

Re: OZFM Club Members!
I've put 3 tunes on there so far
One Dukey wanted me to put up which is his awesome Civic B class tune.
An update of the one from the other day which is a 05 NSX, it kick's ass and has got quite a few top 20/50 times and will be the fastest one around Nurb GP, Cata and a few other tracks in A class by the end of the night.
Also a B class RS Cosworth, pretty handy also.
Nothing shit though. But will still remove them if they don't get used

Re: OZFM Club Members!
Just for the record, what cars are users more interested in? As in what class would we like to see more of on there, since right now its fairly random.
Perhaps if we stick to a certain set of classes or cars we use often (B, A, R3), and then put up cars that people want to try, or tunes people want some feedback on dependent on forum requests?
I mean a Hummer is cool and all....but will it really be needed?

Re: OZFM Club Members!
Yeah guys - we know this is a problem atm.
Were in the process of getting ontop of it, with so many new features i know ive been ran flatout.
The plan will be that if you have a car to put up in the garage then you have to take a photo of it and put up a little spin on why it should be in the OZFM garage -
If there is no post on the forum within a week as to why it should be in there then it will be removed without notice.
If its crap and poorly tuned then it will be removed without notice.
we will whittle out the garbage soon enough, jut give it some time guys.
OZFM garage link is HERE if you wanted a look at the layout

Re: OZFM Club Members!
i chucked up the Lambo Sento Elemento. seems to be a decent car seeing teeroy is leading one of the autocross''s with it.. reason i put it in the cliub gargae is because i thought i would " TRY " be smart and buy it using car coins and then auction it.. but i found out i cant auction it nor gift it..
I could only share it with the club and thats it..
Feel free to remove it if you like..
I also shared 1 other car. which has a basic tune on there and the newest paint i had painted.. But if the Club garage is just for tunes i will happily remove that one..
just thought i would share it with the guys seeing i cant do anything really with it..

Re: OZFM Club Members!
i have a couple in there but are old school muscle cars for LOOKS and fun only (see the 57 TBird) also the cherokee is a hot tune for B class provided by another OZFMer that is a FUN ride.
Its not always about a good tune fellas so be mindful, agree theres a few spammed vehicles but dont just bag it if its doesnt work for you on a said track, it may be an Autocross or drift car or wheelie car etc or purely just a cool paint.
The Hummer is a rad stunt car so dont talk smack about it hahaha (not sure whos that is but good times!)

Re: OZFM Club Members!
teeroy i think i will take it off before u are 1st in all the autocross's with it hehe jokes mate..
I have to agree though as some cars are great for autocross ( stiks civic ) and recoils XB both great on the autocross..
Maybe stickn up 100's of crappy stock cars is a little to much..

Just need input as to whether the car is good or not.
Dunno why you guys deleted the Civic though, that car was a weapon.
