DLC recommendations
Hi all, haven't played too much Forza 3 but looking to rectify that in the near future. Noticed the DLC was on sale and wondering what you guys recommend. I like cars that are fun to drive or maybe a little different. Considering the packs with the Furai,Delorean and the Charger. Thanks in advance.

Nur GP track and the Supercar pack with the Mosler should be at the top of your shopping list. We run the Nur GP track quite a bit in the race series here so it would be worth having.
Many of the sample cars are great (like the Lotus and Civic) so these packs I didn't spend the points on. Check out some of the race series and members Storefronts to see what DLC cars are our most popular and this might help with your decision.

Hey Stealth - I'm fairly new to Forza as well. I've found that the the time trial comp is a good one to begin with. You get to learn a track pretty good, plus I have a tendancy to take people out on corners!!
See you out there!

Hey Stealthslide,
welcome to the forum.
When you're thinking about buying DLC remember that in about 10 weeks FM4 is gonna hit the stands and the focus on OZFM will very quickly switch to the new game. So maybe think about saving the MS points for FM4, unless you're really desperate for something extra in the game right now.
That said, if you decide to get some DLC for FM3, Surfers recommendations would be a good start.
Cheers

The other option to look at - is that if you know somebody that has the Ultimate collection you can install their content (minus the stigs pack) and still use your original FM3 discs to play the game.

Yeah I shadow iWolf and surfers comments.
At least download the sample packs so in an online lobby room you can drive the all DLC stock. (The DLC says you get a sample car, which you do, but in an online room you can drive the DLC car stock. Host has to change a few options but its do-able)

Also if you download all the sample packs, you don't get those nasty black VWs in your lobbies when someone is using a dlc car
