either that or theres some pretty good stories in there
lol Teeroy thats the joy of swapping cars. None of these cost me a hell of a lot of money and I'm notorious to my friends as the guy thats always got a new car, people show up to my mates place (CDS Dr Dopeness, you can ask him) and if they see a car they haven't seen before they just assume I'm there. Most of the time when we're telling people of our antics back in the day it starts off with "Do you remember when Ben had this car?"
I'll find some pic and vids to throw on here

i've had a -
84 corolla stocko
99 white liberty rx had bilstien suspension all way round and just a set of gunmetal 17"s
03 green vy s ute - way to much stuff to list lol it was a v6 but could take on a vy ss up to about 140, plus it was all shiny and stuff
03 black hilux sr5 t/d - locker at the front, bull bar whinch etc.. very slow haha but soooo much fun!!
but i've probably driven 100's of different types of cars, some fun ones at that!
guess it's the reason i love forza so much, because i can mod cars, drive them and make them look good without spending a dime oh and did i mention, not worrying about cops every 2 seconds lol

Re: Cars I have owned
Teeroy!!! I would love to own my old Gremlin.. I seriously miss that car..
My Dad worked in a caryard as the mechanic. I washed the cars after school. I ride into his workshop and this POS gemini is there.
Dad tosses me the key and says clean it. I look at it, cigarette butts on the floor, food stuff, and i have no idea what else on the seats. I look at him and say F&*k that..
Dad says with a smirk why not its your F&*king car.. I just looked at him with this look of why the hell did you buy me this POS. He just walks over pops the bonnet. Extractors, after market Carbies and other bits i cant remember.. He starts the thing up, it starts thumping.. it sounded like a race car. No resinator, just a pipe.
I got in there and just cleaned her up..
The thing was a rocket.. My mates would be like put a rotary in it, my response when you beat me i will.. They never did..
LOL sorry for reminiscing.

Re: Cars I have owned
Here to equal Mcrow5, just the one for me
1995 VS Commodore Executive.
Second hand with the awful Body Kit (actually It's kinda grown on me..) and many dents, scratches and other bits of internal damage. I've reconditioned the transmission and changed the alternator, next up is to fix the left front spring which has been cut...for some reason. I've spent around 4k on her so far (including purchase price) and I love the flawed beast. However if I ever meet the guy who sold it too me again I'll punch him in the face for treating such a good car so poorly.

Re: Cars I have owned
I've only had a few, in list of ownership..
AE90 Corolla 4-door: Man that things was fun to drive, it a weird sort of way, suspension was that bad by the end you could tripod it through corners with the inside front wheel leaving the ground by about a foot on a full lock slide..
1987 E30 318i TC Baur: Billstein shocks, 325i brakes, e36 318is injectors, weight reductions
Believe it or not, but could chase down turbo cars through the mountains... well, as long as there weren't any straights.. Very nimble and agile..
1999 Kawasaki ZZR600: Very fun, very fast.. Very stable and forgiving.. Ran out of puff at 260 which may sound fast enough but when the 1000cc bikes pass you like you doing 60 you find yourself trying to change into a 7th gear..
1984 E30 318i 4-door: Billstein shocks, e36 318is injectors, weight reductions
Was faster on downhill tight twistys than the bike..
1984 E30 323i TC Baur: Billstein shocks, Schrick cam, err.... big stereo..
I'm trying to be a little less aggressive with this one..
1996 Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat: It's nice and light, I miss the top end stability of the ZZR though.. Only paid $1200 for it with 22,000km on the clock.. Bless Townsville for being the Garrison City that it is and all the army personnel on tax-free dollars that would rather go buy a new bike than wash the one they have..
1992 EB S-Pack wagon: .....
meh, its a shopping trolley...
Next Purchase: Kawasaki ZX9-R..

Re: Cars I have owned
I've only had one of any note... 2000 Alfa 156 Monza, which I owned from 2005 till earlier this year.
Twas a beautiful car to drive, but it epitomised the stigma of Alfa reliability, and spent half it's life at the mechanics (quite literally). In the end I just gave up on it, and parted ways for a measly 4k...
Nice call on the ZX9 driverogue, though personally I'd go the Z1000 (or a Benelli TnT 1130 *drool* )

Re: Cars I have owned
Time for an update I guess.
The Corona that got defected
and with the manual gear removed
the second MX73
Bought this VN wagon a couple of weeks ago for $500 (New daily)
And swapped the Cressy for this last weekend (I know Dazz will approve lol)

Re: Cars I have owned
It's been a quiet six months for me
Sold the VN and Bought this XT130 Corona for $500
Then bought a VS wagon for $1000
Swapped that for a MR30 hatch
Then swapped that for my current car, a minta VL wagon
* Update on Bluebird *
Springs have been chopped, steering knuckles chopped and re-welded (for more lock) Diff welded, interior gutted, still need to tune the sidedrafts, re-wire lights and wipers and finish the exhaust.

Re: Cars I have owned
Just 2 personally, although could sort of include my gf's 2009 Ford Focus TDCi because I made her buy it. Damn Euro Fords have good suspension - can keep up a bloody high pace in that thing on a twisty road, 320Nm goes nicely in a small hatch too.
1994 Civic VTi (1.6l SOHC VTEC yo). Fun little gokart, but had had a hard life and ate oil like a f***ing demon, so I gave it a polish and sold it after 3 months for a profit to some Asians who redlined and flat-shifted it on a stone cold engine...
2001 Magna Sports, not too bad a car in a manual, and prior to the 200,000km mark where everything went to shit suspension wise.
At its prime -
Next: soon.

Just to keep you guys in the loop:
Swapped the Poosar for a VS BT1 rolling shell with stupid low k's
After I bought this Corona for $300
I then put on some $200 17's and sold it for $950
In that time I had sold the VS's and bought a EB Falcon (my first) which then shat itself the mornig after I sold the Corona. (Don't but Fords)
Picked up this VQ 5L last weekend and it's for sale if anybody in Adelaide wants it lol
