My 1JZ Cressida Drift car

This is the car i used to get into drifting.Possibly a strange choice for some but swinging that four door lump around the track with a screaming 220rwkw 1JZ was the most fun ive ever had sitting down.Kept up with and outdid many of the usual suspects

The look on peeps faces was bloody priceless.I first went to a couple of skidpan meets put on by Initial Drift Australia at Oran park and then on the Nth and Sth circuit also at Oran Park.

I sold it a while back and miss it all the time.

Loaded up and heading to the track with 10 wheels and tyres,tools,trolley jack etc

nice dude my mate shane has the quickest cressida down the 1/4, pretty sure he did a 8.93 @159.56mph on the w/e, was thinking about buying a 1jz cressida a while back after driving around in his but decided to go for some VIP with the LS400.

I had the GLX cressida, had to upgrade coz i cant fit 3 kids in it, but i did have it sideways a few times going to pick up milk and bread haha.

Yeah,If your talking bout 1JZ747 I know Shane.Met him on some cruises and used to see his ride on TC.net and toymods.

Mad car toydrift, I nearly bought an unfinished 2jz project from the Gold Coast a few years ago but the owner & i couldn't agree on price. There's a few floating around up here in Brisbane, but mostly they are just conversions with light modifications, so more in the 12-13second 1/4 mile range.

That 1jz747 sounds like an absolute weapon of a car, do you guys know if there are any vids of it floating around on the net at all?

all 1jz cresidas are awesome fun on the street cause when your filling up petty a grandma looks over and says i use to own one of those haha and most noobs dont know they put better engines in them

I use to own a MX73 with a 5MGE, god it went well for what it was. Still regret selling it
