Lobby Schedule:
Race 1
Lobby Open: 8:30PM AEST
Practice: 30 minutes (8:35 - 9:05)
Qualifying: 10 minutes (9:05 - 9:15)
Warmup: 5 minutes (9:15 - 9:20)
Race 1: 8 laps (9:20)

Race 2
Qualifying: 15 Minutes
Warmup: 5 minutes
Race 2: 16 Laps

***PLEASE NOTE***
During qualifying if you are on a hotlap hit your headlights button to turn the red light on the back of your car on. This will tell others behind you that you are on a hotlap. In the event of rain it is requested that you turn this light on. If you do not have your light on and are involved in a collision this will be taken into consideration

Safety cars will be in use for the 2nd Race only, an incident must involve 2+ cars for a safety car to be called

Please make sure your connection is up to racing. If you feel you may be not be able to race safely with your connection it may be best for you to sit out. If you're connection is not stable enough to race and you cause incidents

The second race will have one mandatory pitstop

any of the fast guys want to share a setup mine was pretty much default just adjusted final drive.

Lobby 1 - 8 laps, real tyre wear
Lobby 2 - 16 laps 5x tyre wear

In - race 2 only

its 2 races. race 1, is 8 laps. race 2, is 16 laps

D'oh! I read it as lobby 1/2, not race 1/2

Yep x5 tyre wear is for race 2 only! Furthermore gird order will be set by qualifying on the night. Tuesday night was to determine lobbys Also I'll need a host for lobby 2 please

I would share a setup with you if i had one, but myself and im guessing everyone else at the top didnt have one but i could be mistaken. The only thing i have changed is the brake pressure.

most likely wont be there.... still waiting on my power brick to arrive. they say Wednesday I'll get it

if it does get here by tuesday I can host lobby 2

SETUP:

1 click up front downforce

5 clicks down all tyre pressures

2 clicks reward brake pressure

Forgot to close brake and radiator cooling but it might help before over heating. (Don't do this for racing unless you've found the most efficient balance between drag/cooling and horsepowers/heat)

HOT TIP: Concentrate on brake markers, line and execution before thinking setup. BUT if youre going to race in the rain, soften your anti roll bars and springs and turn down your brake pressure.

tyre pressures confuse me, im assuming lower pressure is good for a race because of better tyre wear, but for something like qual would you go higher pressures to heat up quicker get better grip but quicker wear.

(also sms devs said they tyre wear on these cars are bugged atm and are not wearing quick enough.)

i found this car hates the curbs, assuming rebound and spring etc can help with that.

I just like the feel better with lower pressures. Haven't experimented much more but I have my theories. You can smash kerb... If you hit it at the right angle, take just the right amount and at just the right speed, but only certain kerbs. Haha

Was unaware of bugs

Another hot tip. Deal with the kerbs by adjusting driving, not setup.

Kerbs depend on the track really, Brands has horrible kerbs so I avoid them like the plague, Watkins Glen, however, ride them kerbs (not the high ones obv) allllll daaaaaayyyy

Also in light of the tyre wear bug it may be worth upping tyre wear in the 2nd race to 7x, Though 5x did seem to wear

I'm keen to give sempers settings a go as I went in the opposit direction, upped pressures all round by 5 or 6 and dropped front wing by 3 and rear by 5. Didn't touch anything else. Im having enough problems adjusting to the wheel (1st time wheel user) to start playing with setup yet. Like semper said I'm trying to concentrate on driving properly with the wheel before trying to set the car up.

Ive just realised  that I have double booked myself with a committee meeting so I will not be able to attend The first round.
