Modification on the OSTC we ran in May 2013. Cars were really close in that series, and now with a universal engine I'm hoping to do the same.

Car Build Restrictions

All cars must run the 1.6L Turbocharged race engine found in engine conversion menu. (278kw/600N-m)
All FWD cars must be a minimum weight of 1,280kg
All FWD cars must have a 5.2 handling stat

All cars MUST have the following parts:

Platform And Handling
Race Brakes
Race Springs and Dampers
Race Anti-roll Bars (Front and Rear)
Minimum Sport Chassis Reinforcement and Roll Cage

Drivetrain
Race Transmission
Race Differential

Tyres and Rims
Race Tyres
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 Rims
Stock Rim Diameter

The following upgrades are forbidden:

Engine
Restrictor Plate upgrades

Tyres and Rims
Rim types other than those previously stated are not permitted

Aero and Appearance
Body Kits in General

Conversions
Drivetrain Conversions are prohibited

Come build some cars and we'll check out how they compare, then put together set builds for a series.

Ok, these things are batshit crazy. over 4 bar of boost and 373 hp in a FWD? Yeah.... maybe not?

Possibly put a 20% power restrictor on. (bring them back to 220 odd hp)

Will check these out, but one thing at a time dektra.

Lets get the GT86's sorted first - and get them running, other series can be be worked out after that

That engine sucks, to get performance you need to short shift at 5-6k instead of letting it rev out..

Great to see heaps of race series ideas being floated on the forum to be run in the future. Test, test and test! Best to have a series like this fully sorted sooner than trying to put it together a week before it starts and still fixing it during the series.

I think the GT86's should be set up by now, might be wrong... Once they go green no harm in the next one going from idea to test. While I can not participate in most (well pretty much all) of the series run during the week due to work I am happy to put my hand up as a test driver.

Great to see FM5 bringing some new life to the community.

Might try out the 1.6T with the build listed on a car or two. Still got some cash left over from that huge reward payout.
