That makes Horizon look so gay... I think I will keep it a secret that I will be playing it. shhhh!!!

That is dumb. Horizon is not. Really enjoying what they've done. I even like the dirt sections.

Love the dirt sections, wish it was all dirt..
Not really a fan of the slow cars on the road but hopefully it grows on me a bit more. Might be a try before you buy deal I think

I've sat down and played some more and I do like the game, it's going to be fun, lots of fun, you can't do a handbrake turn in F4 just for sh!ts and giggles as you drive around a world, that part is awesome fun the roads and the environment are very well done. I'm still not sold on the music I hope I didn't offend anyone with my Lostprophets was never my intent. I'm still getting the Collectors edition pre order. I think it will be awesome fun to just be a hoon and I can't remember the last time NFS really did that for me. Underground 2 holds the fondest memories in that area. If it has the same level of car customisation as Underground did that that will be a lot of fun...

Anyone notice that the traffic cars are actually real cars, not boxes with wheels?

Its ok goomf after their first 2 albums lost prophets went to sh*t unfortunately.

Might have to fire up the xbox and give this a go.

You didn't honestly expect to be able to total your car in an open world racer, did you?

ummmmm even though there isn't any damage in the game I expect the car I collide with at over 200km/h to go flying off in to the open world. And same with me.

You have to be willing to suspend some of your hardcore sim only attitudes to play a game like horizon.

It was clear from day one it was going to be an amalgamation of NFS and Midnight Club mixed with the open world brilliance that was TDU.

It was never intended to be a sim and I for one really am quite glad about that.

Now I'll get to jump in some of my favourite cars from Forza 4 and not have to worry about tuning this and tuning that and adjust this and adjust that.

Its the "arcade" companion to Forza 4. Want a sim stick to Forza 4 or Formula 1

Oh and I made damn certain I was secured the collectors ed from mighty ape.

Only $68 its a pittance for many hours of interest.

Ok, back to JB to cancel that pre-order, i want the SLS.

Some of the effects are excellent. Going back to my rally adventures (in an Evo), the way the Evo digs in around some of the dirt corners is exceptional. As is the sounds of the dirt and gravel under the car, up in the wheel arches and underbody.

Those complaining of high grip levels on dirt, I think you'd actually be surprised how much grip there is available in real life. I'm not saying its 100%, but, in an Evo the representation that they've built is exceptional. Only complaint i have is I was struggling to hold a slide as long as I would have liked.

Can't wait to explore the other area's of the map. Should be good fun.

The Game (demo) seems to have its good points , it really looks nice and has potential but Mixing the frame of a driving sim with the chassis of an arcade racer doesn't work very well. Its like the game cant decide what it wants to be and as a result it doesnt seem to gel .

Its not for me .

First review that make makes the game look ok.

Gamespot are biased since they now have an app on the 360 dashboard and are the only games site to have it as far as I can tell. Not saying I disagree with them cause I have not played the entire game. But I doubt they are completely objective either
