Credit Clean-up is on.

Just a warning to all those with over 100mil credits. T10 are now checking all credits for those created and then used by hackers. Regardless of how you obtained them T10 will check and then remove any illegal credit. This will hopefully fix the Forza economy. Those with a bank roll of over 100mil will be hit and T10 will drop your credits to 100mil.

If you do have more than 100mil and you acquired them legally you might want to get some trusted or needy friends to sell you some cars on the AH for enough to take you below the 100mil.

What illegal? Gifting to a friend using the AH?

There was a heap of illegal credits in the game. They were created by those who hacked the game and gave them selves 999,999,999 credits. Many were caught from Unicorn Auctions (main reason why you could never win one and why the winner is never seen again) but with all these hacker modified credits out there others who play legit have been caught out. This has happened when your auctions have sold for well into the millions and most of the credits paid to you were not legit. You have no idea where the credits have come from and will never know.

If you do have over 100 million use the auction house to move some credits to others so T10 do not take your cash.

A guy on my FL uses the AH all the time had made over 400 million without having to cheat but because some of his earned credits were from hackers T10 has cleaned him out and left 100 million for him. He will make it back over time.

IMO cash is way too easy to come by in this game anyway. And I'm not talking about cheating. Just playing normal and you can end up with a pile of cash pretty quickly. Especially since most of your upgrades become free pretty easily.

I reckon it should be a bit harder - make you really earn those expensive cars.

Agreed. After 100 or so levels there's little regard needed for purchasing cars especially since you get given 50 cars as well. I end up doing AWD twin turbo V6 swaps to Alfa Mitos just because I can.
