Inter-Club Comp

What are your thoughts on a multi-discipline inter-club comp?

There are members from at lest four separate FM4 clubs that post here plus OZFM club members obviously. We could organise a comp that runs over a number of nights, perhaps a monthly event, with various racing discipline events, circuit, point-to-point, drift, drag, etc. I was thinking that each club enter say two drivers in each event (clubs can hold their own qualifying prior to the main event. Tracks and cars are chosen up front with each club getting to pick one combination in each discipline. Free players could be spectators or even pace car drivers for rolling start races. Any non-racers could make up Car Soccer teams for a Round Robin event.

It would take a lot of organising, but it would be fun. We could also track the chosen clubs on the Rivals Leaderboards for some offline competition.

What do you think? Is it doable? What do we need to consider?

good idea but the current state of some people mentality would mean this will fail.
Im not shutting it down but just defferring it for now.
as discussed in labby last night i will be putting somethign together very smilar but on an individual basis not for club teams.
I think most people can appreciate what im saying here.

I see. Well I am very keen for more team based events rather than individual ones.

Hopefully, Forza clubs will make that easier.

Please feel to challenge XBWA's top drivers in Rivals Mode, I am sure they would love the competition.

you can say it straight Wilson, you know it mate.
but if you read the entire thing and not just the bits you want to read, you should be able to put 2 and 2 together.
Its not the desired result that anyone wanted, trust me. Banning our most successful racer and prior moderator was not what anyone wanted for obvious reason.

You want it straight why this wont work right now:

Some people are being sticks in the mud atm and have been for some time, now with their cross hairs firmyl pointed at OZFM's mods and Admin after a tirade of verbal jousting, an attempt to split the OZFM forum into an "us and them" scenario, the Admin and Mods are trying to get the place back to the happy and productive place we had just before the end of FM3 days where everyone got along and everyone contributed constructively, not flamed others or ranted about anything that mummy couldnt fix for them.

We encourage all OZFM'ers to keep their constructive ideas coming forward ,like this topic's original intent, and we will continue to make OZFM bigger and better as we have done for 2 years now.
