Posting Events

All race events should be posted on the OZFM calendar.

How?

1. Create your event.

There are two ways to start setting up an event.

1.  Go to the forum calendar and select the calendar icon for the day you want to run your event. This will open the open the "Add an Event" dialogue.
The event will be created in the "Race Events" forum.

2. Go direct to the "Race Events" forum and select "newTOPIC".  This will open a new topic dialogue.

Once you've opened the Event/Topic dialogue you can enter the event and calendar details.

Event Details

Enter an event title and details about the event that players will want to know.
Race type, car types, restrictions, start time, host GT, etc.

Calendar details

Calendar details can be found in the lower section of the form when creating or editting your event topic.

Calendar event:  Enter the date of the event, for multi day events like a hot lap comp enter the start date of the event.

Hour of the event: Enter the start time for the event.

During:  Enter the number of days the event will run for, if its a multi day event.
Enter the number of hours and minutes the event will run for, if its a single day endurance type event.

Now Save your event details and the set up is done.

Once an event or series has been finalised it will be moved to the "past events" forum.

Admin approval and Series Forum  setup is required for running a series and must be completed before calendar entries are created from the series forum.  Series events shouldn't be be entered directly from the calendar.
