Hello OZFM

Post by Guest on Sat Jan 30, 2010 12:16 am

Hey guys, I just found this site tonight, it looks like you have a really decent forum going here! Very Happy
I live in Brisbane and have been addicted to Forza since the first game came out, lol. Dammit all them wasted hours playing video games, ha ha!
I co-run a garage on Forza2 (yeah, there is still a demand for cars in F2!) and Forza3 called VW Audi Group dealership, we have a great team and are active on FM.net, we are commonly known as VWAG. We are really family oriented and I personally put fun before all else!
I'm not really interested in serious tournaments, but I'm up for a social race most nights, winning isn't as important as a good clean fight to the finish line!

cheers

Well... we've been doing it since before the Audi's were considered overpowered and cheating, lol. But we also do all brands of cars, fwd and rwd, we have a pretty diverse back catalogue and upcoming release list of cars. If we just stuck to the 2 brands it would get pretty boring, I think! Very Happy

Hey Gaz,
welcome in. You'll find plenty of racers, tuners and painters here - of varying level of skill! :-)
VW hey? Got a good tune for the Scirocco? Mitch has organised a C class production car series starting next week. Have a look over here for the full details and rules. I'm using a Scirocco - goes pretty well for a 195kw little beast. I've tried sacrificing some other things (weight and handling), and pushing it up to 215kw, but my times seem to be better with the lower powered, lighter version. Smile
Anywho - as I said, welcome in, send me an FR and I'll see ya on the track sometime!

Hello Chris, the Scirocco is one I haven't tuned yet, but I'll check with my team see if someone has been working with one. I think the Scirocco may have had too much weight over the front wheels, compared to some other fwd's, to get the best out of the handling. I'll let you know if I can help though. Smile

Yeah - it's pretty front heavy (62% from memory), but seems to be doing well still. I've put super fat tyres on the front, and cheese cutters on the back. Smile

Hi mate,

welcome.. Id seen your GT around before, probably from FM.net, don't spend much (any) time there anymore. I would have thought FM2 would have died a natural death!

Our series arn't that of a "serious tournaments" its just good clean events

Hope to see you on the track
