VF Mini Tournament

Welcome to the VF mini tournament, This is for just a bit off fun while things are getting sorted. This tournament will run a different style format where we will qualify one week and then race the next for 4 rounds on a Thursday night starting May 1st.

Grid:

Qualifying will be 1 flat out 15 minute session to determine the grid for race 1. How the grid will be determined for the other races depends on how many races there are that week. I will explain it as we go through the event on the night.

Qualifying:

As i said qualifying will be 1 flat out session to determine the grid. Afterwards we will be doing a couple of short races in some cars that Original Reapr has made. Reapr will bring us more info about it later in the week.

Calendar:

Round 1: Long Beach Full Circuit        4 x 15min races +1 lap
Round 2: Catalunya National Circuit    3 x 20min races +1 lap
Round 3: Silverstone Grand Prix        2 x 30min races +1 lap
Round 4: Mt Panorama Bathurst        1 x 10min race +1 lap & 1 x 50min race +1 lap



Points System:
Max points for the weekend will be 180 points and the points are awarded depending on the number of races that night.

No Explicit or Offensive Material
Tobacco sponsorships are not allowed.
There may be a maximum of 2 cars with the same sponsorship.
(e.g. 2 red bull cars, 2 toll cars etc.)

Oh, also, you should run in the casual round at long beach! It'll be run in VE's and FG's with race brakes and drivelines (tailshaft) at 767pi with tuning open. You can find some details and let the guys know if you would like to run HERE

Hmmm, stock tuning   nah thanks, I didn't enjoy that stock tune in the monthly challenge... Any chance this will change? We did have the whole last month to race against each other in stock tunes in the rivals event. No pressure yo!   

Just realised this is Thursday night, what time are you going to run the events? I work until 9:30 Adelaide time. There may be a chance I can make the end but I don't want to be holding things up

Yer these races are going to be run at 8 0'clock sorry mate and reapr everyone has to drive the stock setup theres no dis advanatage, this is so it's an even playing field and it's all about the driver.

Also i have been told that you can't actually ban tuning without banning upgrades so i have opened tuning for everyone

no need for the attitude..... I want something DECENT so i can use in the future events we have involving the VF which if T10 gives us what we want for the COTF that would be alot.... so YES i am incapable of creating a DECENT looking car.

Grab your VF, got to the shared paints and search for Burnto 22. He has most of this years liveries done for the Holden.
